Setting this parameter to YES will change the ICKDSF behavior to VERIFYOFFLINE. Setting this parameter to NO will change the ICKDSF behavior to NOVERIFYOFFLINE. Keeping this parameter DEFAULT will not change the default ICKDSF behavior. Availability of the VERIFYOFFLINE parameter, the NOVERIFYOFFLINE parameter, and the default ICKDSF behavior can be adjusted by various IBM APARs/PTFs. VERIFYOFFLINE and NOVERIFYOFFLINE optional ICKDSF parameters are not available in CA Vantage GUI wizard for `Init volume' actions. If the VERIFYOFFLINE parameter is set as default on your z/os instance, and the device is online for another system, the ICKDSF execution terminates if NOVERIFYOFFLINE was not used to override the system defaults.
