4 Introducing the ONLINE SERVICES TEAM The Football NSW Online Services team provides system and technical support to Associations, Clubs and members for the national registration system. FNSW ONLINE SERVICES TEAM In the Online Services Team will deliver training for the the new national registration system to 33 associations and over 700 clubs (approx people in NSW) Q: Who are we? 7 Project Summary The latest news from FFA and InteractSport This tool is built using an agile methodology- meaning development is constantly occurring to provide new functionality, and will continue to be even after GO LIVE There is a Training Environment that can be used to practice and train other users without affecting live data The following data is being migrated: Club/association details, registration numbers, individual details, history, product purchases, invoices, notes and working with children check data The following data is NOT being migrated: T&Cs, Additional questions data, individual photos 7

9 Expectations Before we begin you should know 1. You will be given access to a training environment that you can continue to use to practise your setup, and have a play Lets be honest 2. The training environment may change from day to day don t panic, it s a development environment and is used for testing - it doesn t affect the REAL system 3. What it looks like today may slightly change when we GO LIVE 4. Both FFA and FNSW staff have been testing the system since Augustand we are still testing it on a weekly basis 5. There are an initial set of user guides available and more will come, including how-to videos 9

20 STEP 1 ENSURE YOU HAVE A LOGIN ID Note Associations should remember there are two environments that will need user IDs: The training environment (play area that wont impact real data) The LIVE production system FNSW will create USER IDs for each of the 33 Association Administrators Your ASSOCIATION will create USER IDs for each Club Administrator Once access is given to a CLUB administrator they can create additional logins for their committee (Step 9) Creating USER IDs is simple, but should be done with caution to ensure the correct level of access In the training environment USER ID s will need to be created by FNSW or FFA (interim) 20

37 REGISTRATION PERIOD Registration Periods are initially created by FFA and define a time period which governs registrations (Year) Control when registrations can be open, locked and closed Set by the FFA Optional Adjusting the dates for the Registration Period is useful for Summer types where the period extends past Dec 31st Associations can adjust the dates to further control the registration period dates for their clubs Adjusting Registration Periods is optional just use the default Registration Period set by FFA for now 37

42 REGISTRATION TYPES WHERE THE FEES LIVE WHERE THE AGE RANGE IS SET WHERE GENDER SPECIFIC FEES CAN BE MANAGED WHERE A Registration Type is a means of categorising registrations into a specific group and defining the fee that must be paid when a player is registered When an Association Admin creates a Registration Type they must select the parent FNSW Registration Type from which the new Type will inherit The Parent Type will determine the broadest possible age restrictions for the new type and the fee that the Association must pay to the National Governing Body and Member Federation for each player registered A Registration Type can be configured to apply different fees to each sub age group specified by the Parent Type. This allows Associations to offer special prices to certain groups of members while retaining the registration structure set by the State Body. The Registration Type does not need to include the FFA NRF or FNSW Capitation fees. The fee entered in a registration type is the Association fee Once Registration types are created, they can be used year on year. Typically, the only changes required to a registration type each year will be the - dates when this type is active - Association fees - Disclaimers 42

Each user s address is cross checked before the user can log in via their account What it does Once integrated with a website or system the football account becomes a quick and reliable way to confirm a user s identity across systems What that means We can start to provide faster, more personalised services to participants. 62

63 PLAY FOOTBALL Preview What changes? - The Football Account uses a participant s address to verify and provide access to rego, or other system - Users can link their social accounts to their football account, using social accounts to log in - Claim accounts from mid December What doesn t? - People will retain their FFA Number but in the future they won t need it to register or log in to systems. 63
