1 ITAP Accountability for Adult Education Tutorial on the use of the Accountability website Address: Welcome Page: Click on this button Once you access the page, if you are an ITAP agency, you will open the ITAP green button, this is where you will find the log in screen. Keep in mind that even after you log in, you always have the ability to open any one of the portals from the colored buttons at the top of the page. Your address here Enter Your Password Click here if you have forgotten your password Now, sign in again with your new password. Once you are beyond the sign in page, you will be taken to a selection of regions. Although you will see the entire list of regions (including one mock region that we are using for training purposes), only the region you are associated with will be an active button. Click on the region that you are associated with and it will take you to the next page.

2 Your own region will be an active button Next step is to open the agency that you wish to update. The next step is to select the year you wish to view/edit. You can always return to the main menu

3 This action will bring you to all the information regarding the selected agency. If you are a program director or program staff, you will only see one agency on this screen and it should be your agency. Select your agency s name to access all the information that has been added to your account and to access a series of forms and recording tools. The follow is a review of each tool and its intended purpose: Program Improvement Plan Objectives To add a form or view/ edit forms and/or reports that have already been uploaded to your account, you would click on form you wish to view. To upload any supporting documents Click related here at any time to ITAP or Corrective Action objectives, click on New fill in the required fields, and upload to save any your work. The supporting documents by clicking here: Save will follow you all the way to the bottom of the page.

4 Program Improvement Action steps This section is a place to submit information in the following areas: o Program Improvement Committee Input o Technical Assistance from your RAEN o Training you(or your staff) have provided or attended o Mentoring/peer technical assistance o Other The following two sections will already have your NYS Report Card uploaded and accessible along with the most recent quarterly Program Evaluation Reports. These will be uploaded once each quarter on the due dates as stated in NYS Policy regarding Quarterly data submissions. Annual Report Card and Program Evaluation Reports The following two sections will already have your NYS Report Card uploaded and accessible along with the most recent quarterly Program Evaluation Reports. These will be uploaded once each quarter on the due dates as stated in NYS Policy regarding Quarterly data submissions. Program Self-Review Compliance Form The next section is dedicated entirely to the Program s Self Review Form. The program must complete a self review form each year they remain an ITAP. This area is reserved for comments, they can come from the program or NYSED or the RAEN

5 TRACKING LOG The last section is intended to track all activity related to the Individual Technical Assistance Program (ITAP). This is the area where programs can keep track of their progress and the NYSED Regional and their RAEN can also document conference calls, phone calls, site visits, and even s can be uploaded. All activity in this section should be dated. Be certain to select the type of technical assistance that was provided If you experience any technical difficulty or need any further assistance, there is a Help button that will always be at the top of the page: Click here for Help Which opens up a form that sends an to us, so please be as descriptive as possible with what the issue is. Where you were when the problem arose, what you were working on, who you are and what site and region you are from. This will help us troubleshoot the issues you are having, and get you up and running as quickly as possible. Please be as descriptive as possible in your issue here.
