1 How to Utilize the Provider Portal TO REGISTER: please go to: New Provider registration: Please click on the Sign Up. This is required for all new Users. This is a one time registration process only. Step 1 of 5: License Agreement Please review the licensing agreement. Hit Agree button to proceed. Step 2 of 5: Personal Information The Personal Information page must be completed and ALL fields with asterisks must be filled in. Proceed to NEXT button at the end of the page.
2 Step 3 of 5: Identification: Enter the Tax identification number. You may enter multiple TAX ID numbers on this page which will allow you to view any claims submitted that contain that particular TAX ID on the claim that was submitted. Click on UPDATE after loading all related TAX ID numbers. Once done, proceed to NEXT Step 4 of 5: Create User ID (Username) and Password Create the Username and Password that will be used to enter the Provider Portal. Please follow the rules for security in creating your username and password. Once created, you can access the Portal with this username at all times. Step 5 of 5: Verify Please review the information and make the necessary corrections if needed. Once the information is verified and correct, please proceed to FINISH.
3 Once the one time registration is completed, you will be brought to this screen. Add Additional TIN please click to enter if you need to add additional TAX ID to access using your Username/Password. View Claims Please click if you would like to View Claims Status. To search for a Patient: Enter First Name, Last Name and Date of Birth ONLY Or Enter the Patient s Social Security # or if available the Alternate Id Number (BeneSys assigned). The Alternate ID will appear when the search is completed. You may want to take down the Member ID# that appears after the search as you may use this number in the future to also locate the Member rather than using a Social Security number. The Patient s Name will appear Verify Name and Date of Birth Click on the Patient s Name It will bring you to the Eligibility screen and provide Coverage / Effective Date / Termination Date and Accumulators. This screen also contains PLAN DOCUMENTS for Medical, Dental and Vision Summary of Benefits which are viewable online to download (click on the document name to open), or you may elect to print them. This screen also allows to Ask a Question (click to initiate) if you need additional information and specifics
4 Search a Member/Dependent Sample of Eligibility Screen Coverage, Effective Date, Termination Date and Claims Accumulator
5 Sample of a Medical Summary of Benefits After viewing the benefit outline, you may return to the previous screen by closing the tab Close tab Ask a Question If you need additional information that may not be addressed on the Portal, you may send an Ask a Question to a Member Service Representative who will respond to your questions in a prompt manner. Pre filled fields will appear following this page and it will allow you to ask Additional Information/Comments: Ask a Question/Click
6 Receiving your Replies You will receive an once your Portal question is answered. Please log into the website and click on Messages in the upper right corner of the page to view your messages and their responses. You will not be able to respond to the replies, you will need to initiate another inquiry if you need further information.
