1 This document will tell you how to: 1) Set up your Garvan High Tea Personal Fundraising Page 2) How to personalise your page 3) How to add your own photos to your page 4) How to create a friendly URL 5) How to manually add contacts and addresses to your Garvan High Tea address book 1) Setting up your Garvan High Tea Personal Fundraising Page Refer to the images below each of the steps. 1. Go to 2. Click on Get started and register your High Tea now.

2 3. You will be directed to the Create your personal High Tea Page. If you already have a Garvan, Cancer Centre or Nuns Run login, please click on login to Garvan online. 4. If you already have a Garvan, Cancer Centre or Nuns Run login, and have forgotten your User Name or password, click on login to login first and then return to this page Become a High Tea Host to register for the high tea. (Note, when you return you will not see your name details as the system knows who you are.) 5. For new users, fill out the form below to create a User Name and Password for the Garvan website.

3 6. When completed click Next at the bottom of the page See the next page for how to personalise your page.

4 2. Personalise your fundraising page Refer to the images below each of the steps. 1. To Login to your Garvan High Tea Fundraising page, click on Login. 2. Enter your User Name and Password to Login to your Garvan High Tea page. 3. Once in your fundraising home page (or dashboard), you can tailor the copy on your personal page to suit your High Tea. Click on Design My Web Page

5 4. Then click Edit My Web Page 5. To personalise your High Tea page, click your cursor into the Why I m holding a Garvan High Tea panel. You can add your own text here for your High Tea event. 6. Click on Save Changes when completed. 7. If you can wish to receive donation alerts via , go to your Home page. Under the heading My Notifications, tick the Garvan Fundraiser Donation Alert box. 8. Click on Update. See the next page for how to add photos to your page.

6 3. Adding Images to your personal fundraising page Refer to the images below each of the steps. 1. In your fundraising dashboard, click on Edit My Web Page 2. You will be directed to the page My Page, Edit Mode. Click on Add Image 3. You will then be prompted with the following screen. Click on My Photos

7 4. You will then be directed to the following screen. Click on Browse 5. Find the photo on your computer you wish to upload onto your fundraising page. Click on the photo file you wish to upload. 6. You will then be directed to the following screen. The file name of the selected picture will appear next to the browse button. If you wish to add more photos, click on the next Browse button. Click on Upload Now when you have added all the photos that you wish to be added to your page.

8 7. You will then be directed to the following page. 8. Click on the image you want to select for your page. The image selected will appear on the right under Selected Image. 9. Click on Select Image to upload. 10. The image will then appear under My Photos on your Fundraiser page. 11. When you have finished adding photos to your fundraising page, click on Save Changes

9 4. Creating a friendly URL Refer to the images below each of the steps. 1. On your home page, click on Design My Web Page 2. Under the section My Web Page, you can add your own friendly URL. Here, you can choose your own web link that is more personal and relevant to your fundraising page. 3. After you have added your own friendly URL, click on the tick symbol. This will then tell you if your URL has been accepted.

10 4. Click on Apply Friendly URL. Your friendly URL will then be displayed. 5. If you wish to your friends externally, for example when using Hotmail or Microsoft Outlook, you can paste this friendly URL into your s. This will help your friends to easily find your fundraising page. See the next page for how to add contacts manually into your Garvan High Tea dashboard. You can then send Garvan High Tea s to your contacts through the Garvan High Tea website.

11 5. Adding contacts with s to your Garvan address book manually Refer to the images below each of the steps. 1. On your My High Tea Page, select Address Book 2. Select New Contact 3. Enter the contact details and click Save 4. Your contacts will appear as a blue links when saved.

12 5. Continue adding contacts as required. 6. When completed, you can then click Send to send a beautifully designed High Tea to your contacts inviting them to your High Tea.
