1 My Profile - General Information The My Profile - General Information screen allows authorized users to customize their PaymentNet user account. Authorized users can: Change password information Set up or change security questions Enable notifications Enter or change the address Changing Your In order to access PaymentNet, you must enter your organization ID, user ID, and password. Your password is a security feature that prohibits unauthorized access to PaymentNet. When you change your password, your new password must: Conform to the password restrictions that display next to the fields Not contain any spaces Include at least one letter and one number Be different than your user ID Be different than your last five passwords Additionally, when you voluntarily change your password, you must enter the old password in addition to entering and confirming the new password. If this is not done successfully after six (6) attempts, your access to PaymentNet is automatically disabled. Your administrator must then enable your account before you can log in to PaymentNet. Note: Standard security settings require you to change your password every 90 days. PaymentNet prompts you to change your password when it expires and you cannot log in until the password is changed. 8/28/ :23 AM Page 1
2 To change your password: 2. Click the Change link. PaymentNet displays the Change window. 3. Complete the following fields: Current New Confirm Enter your current password. Your password is case sensitive. Enter your new password. By default, the characters you enter in this field are masked. To display the characters you enter, click the Show Characters link. s are case-sensitive and must conform to the password requirements that display to the right of this field. As you enter your new password, PaymentNet displays a green check mark as each requirement is met. Confirm your new password. By default, the characters you enter in this field are masked. To display the characters you enter, click the Show Characters link. As you confirm your new password, PaymentNet verifies, and displays a visual indication, that the entered passwords match. 4. Click the Save button. PaymentNet saves the password settings and displays the My Profile - General Information screen. Your new password takes effect the next time you log in to PaymentNet. 8/28/ :23 AM Page 2
3 Managing Your Security Questions Security questions provide a secure way to access PaymentNet if you forget your password. You can change your answer to a security question or delete your answer altogether. While answers to only three security questions are required, J.P. Morgan recommends that you answer all five questions. To manage your security questions: 2. Click the Change Security Questions link. PaymentNet displays the Change Security Questions window. 3. Enter your current password in the Current field. 4. Do one or both of the following: To change your answer to a security question: o Click the X located in the field of the answer you want to change. PaymentNet clears the answer from the field. o Enter your updated answer in the field. To delete your answer from a security question, click the X located in the field of the answer you want to delete. o PaymentNet clears the answer from the field. 5. Click the Save button. PaymentNet displays the Confirm Security Questions window. Answers you changed are unmasked and deleted answers are blank. 6. Verify the answers you changed and then do one of the following: If you need to make any changes, click the Edit button to return to the Change Security Questions window. If everything is correct, click the Submit button. PaymentNet saves your changes and displays the My Profile - General Information screen. 8/28/ :23 AM Page 3
4 Managing Notifications You can configure PaymentNet so notifications are sent to you once certain action items are complete or require further attention. Depending on your role, you can choose to receive notifications for the following: Reports Transactions for Review Transactions for Approval Import Files Export Files Payments Mappers Unreconciled Orders Orphaned Transactions Account Request Errors Mass Update Completion Receipt Images Attached Compliance Monitoring To manage notifications: 2. Do the following: Select the checkboxes of the notifications you want to receive. Deselect the checkboxes of the notifications you do not want to receive. Note: Available notification options vary based on your assigned user role. 3. Click the Save button. PaymentNet saves the settings and displays a confirmation message. 8/28/ :23 AM Page 4
5 Changing Your Address You can change the address where important notifications are sent. Notifications include completed reports, transactions ready for review, and other updates. To change your address: 2. Click the Change Address link. PaymentNet displays the Change Address window. 3. Complete the following fields: Current Enter your current password. Address Enter your new address. 4. Click the Save button. PaymentNet saves your changes and displays the My Profile - General Information screen. 8/28/ :23 AM Page 5
