Welcome to TMA Live This guide will help you learn how to use TMA Live to obtain the best output for your floor plans and particulars. Getting to TMA Live Submitting a plan to TMA Live is slightly different according to whether you have the plan on the desktop or on a mobile device. From Your Desktop PC Once you have drawn your floor plan, click on Finish, and then Save and Finish as highlighted in the image below: Once you have clicked on Save and Finish a new Internet Explorer window will open asking you to enter your log in details. From Your Mobile Device Your mobile device must be connected to your desktop PC to send a file to TMA Live. There are two options for sending a plan on your mobile device to TMA Live, both of which use the TMA Page 3 of 17
Connector (please see for more information): 1. Send the file directly to TMA Live using the publish icon ( ) This will open a new Internet Explorer window asking you to enter your log in details 2. Open the file in the desktop part of the software you may wish to do this anyway to make some adjustments - and proceed as in From Your Desktop PC You can do this by either using the edit with desktop icon ( ) or use the move to PC icon ( ) and then opening The Mobile Agent on the desktop and selecting Open a property. Please note that if you have a licensed version of The Mobile Agent for Pocket PC you do not necessarily have the desktop edition of the software. Subscribers of The Mobile Agent will have access to the desktop part of the software. When using any of the three icon options above the TMA file will be moved to the TMA Documents folder. This folder can be found in My Documents (Windows XP users) or Documents (Window Vista or 7 users). Logging in to TMA Live The Internet Explorer window opened will look like the screenshot below: Enter your details into the relevant fields and click on the Login button. The username will be the address as was signed up to the trial with, similarly the password is as set when signing up for the trial. If you have forgotten the password there is a Forgot you password? link available to use. Congratulations! You have now logged in to TMA Live and are ready obtain what you need. Page 4 of 17
TMA Live Home Screen Once you have logged in the first screen you will see is shown below: EPC Plans and Reports On the left will be the EPC information and the following options will be available: Save Images This allows the EPC image as shown in the preview of the EPC plans panel. You will have options for: File Format: o o o PNG JPG WMF (including old style WMF) Which floors you will only have the option to save all floors on a single image Type of image (not available when saving PDF or Microsoft Word document) o Print image (300dpi) o Web image (96dpi) Page 5 of 17
Image size Preset sizes will be available, or alternatively you can choose your own custom settings (unless saving a PDF) o Please note that maximum size settings are as follows: 96dpi: 1200 x 1200 pixels 300dpi: 11 x 11 inches Web Report This opens a web version of the report created containing the information as recorded in The Mobile Agent for DEAs. MS Word This downloads a copy of the report containing the EPC information collated in The Mobile Agent for DEAs in a Microsoft Word document. This will be saved into the TMA Documents folder which can be found in My Documents. An example of the type of report collated can be seen at: The first two pages are indicative of the report whilst the third page is an example marketing plan that could be saved. Marketing Plans On the right will be a preview of the marketing plans this will be obscured by a window as indicated in the image asking you to choose a payment plan. Tick this box to continue and follow the onscreen prompts to complete sign up to a payment plan. If you would like to discuss different payment options please contact us on or at sales@themobileagent.co.uk. Page 6 of 17
Once you have signed up to a payment plan the buttons previously greyed out will now become available. These are: Save Images This allows you to save the marketing plans clicking on this button will take you to the TMA Live Marketing Plan Save Screen. Any style changes you make may need to be changed for the next job unless you are using your own settings and all plans will be the same. Save for new customer This will open a window asking you to enter an address or name for the new customer. This will then assign the plan to this customer allowing you to save images for them. Once you have entered the name or address you will be told that the plan will be permanently assigned to this address, are you sure you want to do this? Once confirmed you will be taken to the main save screen for the marketing plans. Please see TMA Live Marketing Plan Save Screen for details of how to set the style and size and format settings. Whatever style or size and format is used for this customer will be saved on the customer record so that when you assign another job to this customer in the future the settings will automatically be applied. Send to new customer This will open a window asking you to enter the address for the new customer. Once you have entered the address you will be told that the plan will be permanently assigned to this address, are you sure you want to do this? Once confirmed you will see the following on: Page 7 of 17
Clicking on the preview on the preview will show you a preview of the to be sent as below: The customer will then be able to log in to the plan and set their own customisations and save the images they need. They will also be able to change room titles and measurements displayed if necessary. A guide to use of the interactive link for your customers can be found at: Once logged in the customer will see the TMA Live Marketing Plan Save Screen and will be able to all the same changes to the plan as you would be able to from here. There settings will be saved and automatically applied the next time they access a plan in TMA Live. IMPORTANT: Customers must use the address that the link was sent to as the username, for example in the example above the is sent to Customer@coustomers.co.uk, and so Customer@customers.co.uk must be used as the username to log in to the plan. The first time an address is used they will automatically be prompted for a password. Although both saving for a customer and sending a link to the customer will say that the plan will be permanently assigned to the customer this can be reset on the Home Screen. Page 8 of 17
