1 How To... Electronically Sign Your Loan Documents Once you have been pre-qualified for a loan, your documents will be ready for you to sign. These documents can be sent to you electronically using a program called SureDocs. After your documents have been prepared, an (similar to this one) will be sent to you. Co-Borrowers will have a separate sent to them. Your password to access your loan documents will be included in this . The password will be different for every loan, although borrowers and co-borrowers may be given the same one. In this example the password is today. Jane Doe, This contains the link to view important documents concerning your loan. Please view and sign these documents. They may be returned electronically. You will need the password "today" to access these documents. UserID=kswift@adairfinancial.com&Signer=Jane+Doe To view a short video of how the SureDocs esignature process works, click the following link or paste it into your browser: mtgxsites/signsuredoc Username: kswift@adairfinancial.com Document ID: Select the link to view & sign your documents. The Document ID is used if you are applying or have applied for multiple loans & are a returning user. We recommend watching the short video on how the SureDocs process works.
2 If you have used Sure- Docs before and are a returning user, enter your Username and Password. Select Login Select Your Name and OK. After you login, if there are multiple borrowers, you will have to select which person s documents are going to be signed. Jane Doe, Borrower John Doe, Co-Borrower If this is your first time using SureDocs, you will need to create an account. The Username will be the same as your address. Select a Password. This is not the password from the you received. Your Password Strength is determined here (the stronger the better). Select a Security Question and Answer. You have the following list of security questions to choose from: Recommendation: Use a minimum of 8 characters for your password & use the same password you used when you applied for your loan. Select Login
3 Whether you are a returning user or just registered, you will need to read & accept the Consumer Agreement. SureDocs requires Acrobat Reader, if you do not see a code in the box, you will need to download the program onto your computer. Select the link Click Here and follow their instructions. Enter the code from the box. Select I Agree Any documents that need to be signed will be listed here. If this is your first time using SureDocs, before signing you will need to create a signature. Select My Signature
4 Select the type of font you would like to use for your signature. Jane Doe JD After a font type has been selected, it can be previewed here. If necessary, adjust the signature to fit the box and on the line. Select OK Now you are ready to view the documents. Select View next to the document that needs to be signed. You will receive a prompt to enter your password. This is the password that was included in your original .
5 All documents will be listed on the left side. There may be additional signatures throughout your document, these signatures are that of your loan officer. As you scroll down, you will see designated tabs. When you are ready to sign the documents, select Sign Document. The following message appears when you select Sign Document. Select Apply Signature Your signature will then be inserted. The date appears automatically. Jane Doe 7/8/2008 The Apply Signature prompt will continue to appear for every document. Continue to select Apply Signature.
6 If text is required, a box like the following will appear. Type in the required information. A red box indicates needed information. After entering in the information, select Next. There may also be areas to insert your initials. Select Apply Initials
7 After the last document has been signed, the following message will appear. Review your documents prior to submitting. Jane Select Agree The following message will appear, giving you the option to print your documents. Select OK Once OK has been selected, your documents are automatically sent to Adair Financial Services. Remember you can check the status of your loan by logging on to your account at
