1 Secondary Address Matching Configuration Guide RAE Internet, Inc Match My Special Features

2 Multiple or Secondary Address Matching in a Single Contact Match My supports secondary or multiple address matching. This capability is native in MME but requires configuration of Salesforce.com to work. In the screenshot below, a Contact record with Secondary Addresses embedded in the layout is shown. Match My will automatically match to these secondary addresses and log associated into the Messages custom object using MultiMatch or into Activity History section using SingleMatch Create Contact custom object In Salesforce.com go to Setup 2

3 Go to App Setup > Create > Objects Click "New Custom Object" Fill fields and click Save Label: Secondary Address Plural: Secondary Addresses Object Name: Contact Description: Secondary Address Record Name: Type NOTE: Fields with bold text MUST be filled exactly as specified otherwise MME will not detect that the feature is configured. 3

4 1.2. Create field Repeat the steps above, Setup > App Setup > Create > Objects. 4

5 Click on newly created object in object list labeled Secondary Address Click on Custom Fields & Relationships Click on "New". 5

6 Choose the field type by clicking on and then Next Fill in the fields and click on Next Data Type: Field Label: Field Name: Required: check Other options may be default. NOTE: Fields with bold text MUST be filled exactly as specified otherwise MME will not detect that the feature is configured. 6

7 Establish field level security by clicking on Next 7

8 Add to page layouts by clicking on Next 1.3. Create Master-Detail Relationship: Repeat the steps, Setup > App Setup > Create > Objects Click on newly created object in object list labeled Secondary Address Click on Custom Fields & Relationships 8

9 Click on "New" in the Custom Fields & Relationships box Choose Master-Detail Relationship and click Next 9

10 Select Contact from the dropdown menu and click Next Fill in fields and click Next Fill fields: Data Type: Master-Detail Relationship Related To: Contact Field Label: Contact Field Name: Contact Child Relationship Name: s Related List Label: Secondary Address NOTE: Fields with bold text MUST be filled exactly as specified otherwise MME will not detect that the feature is configured. 10

11 Establish field-level security for reference field by clicking Next Add custom related lists by filling in Related List Label with Secondary Address and clicking Save. Note spelling and spacing must be exact. 11

Creating secondary or multiple addresses for a single Contact Go to Contact -> Edit -> Address -> Secondary Address -> New Secondary Address Fill fields and click Save Type: a custom name for new address contact (i.e. home, business, office) new mail address When completed you will see menu below. 12

17 Click first button on the upper left, the Save button Secondary Address list will display both Type and now 1.6. Enabling Secondary Addresses for a single Contact in MME Within one hour MME will automatically detect that feature is configured and will start using it. This is Automatic Mode. If you cannot wait for Automatic Mode to kick in, you can immediately enable the feature. 17

18 Go to Salesforce Integration Tab under Setting in MME Disable Salesforce Integration in MME and click Save 18
