AssessorNET is the on-line gathering place for IAAO members - government assessment officials and others interested in the administration of the property tax - working to secure profitable business relationships for their clients. Come to AssessorNET to: Meet other members ( Check out People ) Join a Group ( Check out Groups ) Start a Group and meet members who share your interests Print out the articles you read in Documents Share documents with members Come on in! 2 Getting Started With AssessorNet You will be taken to the IAAO Log in page where you can log in using your personal membership information. Go to and click on AssessorNET link on top right corner. As an IAAO member, a basic user account was created for you in AssessorNET based on your membership profile in the IAAO Online Membership Directory. To sign into AssessorNET for the first time, click the AssessorNET link shown on page 2. The IAAO login page will appear, and you will be directed to enter your IAAO user name and password (just like you were logging into the IAAO website). After you have logged in, you will be able to view the AssessorNET homepage.

3 Welcome Tab Starting on the left-hand side, the welcome page provides: Instructions on how to use AssessorNET How to develop your AssessorNET profile How to stay connected with others on AssessorNET Also provided on the Welcome Page is the List Feed: Here you will find the latest s from members of IAAO

4 My Page Tab My Page contains information about you! My News - View recent news posted by other IAAO AssessorNET Members.

5 My Page Tab Notification Settings - Control information you would like to be ed about and how you would like to be notified about s sent through AssessorNET. My Groups - This page sends you directly to My Groups under the Group tab. Choose how these s will be sent to you through delivery settings. View s from the groups you are a member of. From here you will need to reselect the My Page Tab to return to the My Page category tabs.

6 My Page Tab My Calendar - This page sends you to the My Community Calendar Current Month - View community calendar under Current Month tab. Event Map - See where IAAO events are happening and where other people in the IAAO Community are under the Community Map tab. Again, you will need to reselect the My Page Tab to return to the My Page category tabs.

7 My Page Tab View Profile - See what other AssessorNET members see when viewing your AssessorNET profile. Edit Profile - Edit your AssessorNET profile under the Edit Profile tab. On the left side of the page, you can edit everything in your profile including s, phone numbers, and basic information.

8 People Tab The People tab connects you with other IAAO members. Community Directory - Get access to other IAAO members AssessorNET profiles in the Community Directory tab. Community Map - See where others IAAO members are.

9 People Tab Tag Cloud Search for IAAO members with popular profile tags. Ex: Click on the tagged word appraiser to find AssessorNET members with the word appraiser in their profile.

10 Groups Tab The Group tab connects you to special interests groups within the IAAO Community. All Groups - View all groups within the IAAO Community. My Groups Messages - Access the latest s and announcements generated by the IAAO groups you belong to and Shared Documents within groups. Click on any to view it within a Group s message archive.

11 Groups Tab My Groups - View all of the special interest groups you participate in. Access Messages and Shared Documents within groups. This is the second way to access group messages. Start New Group - Start your own interest group and invite other IAAO members to participate (Please your idea for a new Group to membership@iaao.org.)

12 Documents Tab The Documents tab allows you to view uploaded documents available to IAAO members. Community Documents - Add and view all documents, photos, links, book reviews, and stories provided by the IAAO members.

13 Documents Tab Shared Documents - Access member documents and photos in your groups. Our Stories - Read and contribute to stories proved by your fellow members.

14 Documents Tab Book Reviews - View reviews on books provided by IAAO. Helpful Links - Access links that answer any questions you may have. Search Documents - Access search engine to find documents that interest you in the community library.
