2 About SMS Module "SMS Module for Tally.ERP 9" is a unique CRM tool that helps you Stay-in-Touch with your customers, distributors, dealers, resellers, agents, other business associates and even your employees in a very cost effective manner using the powerful medium of SMS communication. It helps to keep your Customers, Dealers, Selling Agents or your own Sales team informed about New Product Launches, Features, Product Updates or Stock Positions. Instantly inform your Customers as soon as you record important transactions in Tally like Material Dispatch or Cheque Receipts. Politely remind your customers about Overdue Bills. Send Reminders to a Single Customer or Bulk Reminders for all overdue bills or Form Reminders together with customer selection option. Note: Free 100 SMS's! After the first 100 free SMSs, you will need to prepay according to the volume pack you purchase. See Note: By Default, the SMS sending category is Promotional Category which will not allow you to send SMS in DND Numbers. In this case, DND numbers delivery of SMS is not possible. We will provide you with the credit of the SMS which were not delivered due to NDNC failure at the end of every month. The other Category, Transactional Category allows you to send the SMS in the DND Numbers. To register under the Transactional SMS Service or for further queries or clarification, please contact on or us at addons@antraweb.com Main Features: Easy to configure Voucher Notification Group SMS & Single SMS Overdue Bills Reminder Auto SMS send 'C' Form Pending Bulk SMS SMS Balance SMS History System requirements: - Microsoft.NET Framework 2.0 Internet Broadband Connection (While Sending the SMS) If your using the Internet by proxy then make the proxy configuration in Tally.ERP9
3 Installation: - Local TDL:- You have to attach the SMS Module TDL file in your Tall.ERP9 Software you have to follow any one of the steps below mentioned. 1. Using Tally.ini Open Tally.ERP 9 folder Open Tally.ini file Please specify the path of TDL file and save. User TDL = Yes TDL = (Path of the TDL) 2. Using F12 Configuration Press F12 button to make the TDL configuration.
4 Press F4 to configure the Local TDL file. If the option Load TDLs on startup is No then set it to Yes. If it is already Yes then please enter and go to the next field, specify the path of the TDL & accept it. Once the TDL is attached, the screen also displays the status of TDL file. When the TDL is loaded successfully its status is displayed as Active.
5 Account TDL:- The control centre in Tally.ERP 9 allows the user to deploy customized TDL programs to a single site or all the sites belonging to an account. The account administrator can deploy the account TDLs by following the four simple steps as mentioned below: Upload Customized TDL Programs Create TDL Configuration Pack Link TDL Configuration Pack Download TDL Configuration Pack
6 Detailed Setup Guide: The setup will require some supported dll & exe files which are listed below: 1. TallySMS.dll 2. SMS2TallyCustomer.exe 3. SMSFromTally.exe 4. SMSOverdue.exe 5. SMSSettings.exe 6. TextFormReminder.exe 7. MESSAGETEMPLATE.TXT 8. SMSAntraBalance.exe 9. SMSAntraHistory.exe 10. SMS Bulk.exe 11. SMSAutoFromTally.exe At first, when you start Tally.ERP 9, you will see a message Below listed supported files are required to run the SMS Module.
7 Press Enter or Esc. Then, it will ask you to confirmation for downloading the files. Please accept it. Then, the file download process will start.
8 After completion of downloading process, it will show you the status. There after you will not get message when you start Tally.ERP 9: Enable the SMS Module: Go to Gateway of Tally Company Features [F11] Press F6 for Add on Features Say Yes to Enable SMS Module and enter the SMS Signature Text (maximum length is 10 characters).
9 Now you will get to see the SMS Module option in the Gateway of Tally. Select SMS Module from Gateway of Tally and select SMS Setup : It will open the following SMS Setup Window that you have to fill up & click on Register.
10 Sender s Mobile No: Please mention your appropriate Mobile number. After Registration process, your User Name and password will be sending on this mobile number. User: By Default, your Tally Serial Number will be set as the User. Sender ID: Please mention the Sender ID for your messages. As per the TRAI Rules, the maximum character limit for sender ID is 6 & it should all Alphabetical characters. You can use your company name or initials for Sender ID. When you send the Messages from Tally, then the recipients will receive the Message as LM-(sender ID) E.g. LM AWTPLM Please be careful while entering the Sender ID. Once registered, the Sender ID cannot be changed. Note that by default, you sign up for our promotional SMS Service where you will not get the Sender ID. This SMS will be sent with an ID as per the policies defined by TRAl. You will get the requested ID only if you are registered in the Transactional SMS Service. To register under the Transactional SMS Service or for further queries or clarification, please contact on or us at addons@antraweb.com After the Registration, the User Name and Password will be send on your mobile number. The same will be also displayed on your screen: User Name: (Tally Serial Number) Password: (Password)
11 After clicking on OK, the password will be automatically set in the field. If not, please enter the password. Select the option Edit Mobile Number and click on the Save button. Congratulations! You get 100 SMS free for registering! Maintenance Instruction: We also have online support facility for Registration of our SMS Module.
