Adding an Authorized Representative and Gaining Access to Client Accounts (For Clients & Representatives)

1 To add a representative or gain access to a client account, you will each need a separate: ONe Key ID ONe Source for Business profile Ministry of the Environment (MOE) account Through the MOE Client Management System, clients can assign Delegated Authorities and Authorized Representatives. Delegated Authorities are individuals that have access to all services associated with the client and can perform any actions on their behalf. Authorized Representatives are individuals with custom permission levels who can oversee and manage the client s registrations and applications. If you are a Client and want to add an Authorized Representative to your ONe- Source Profile and MOE Account, you will be following Steps 1-7 and If you are an Authorized Representative and want to gain access to a Client account, you will be following Steps 1-3 and Go to ontario.ca/onesource and click on Log in. 1 of 12
2 2. From your ONe Source for Business profile, select the Ministry of Environment Tools button. 2 of 12
3 3. Click the MOE Client Management System link. If you are an Authorized Representative and want to gain access to a Client account, skip to Step 8. If you are a Client and want to add an Authorized Representative to your ONe-Source Profile and MOE Account, continue to Step 4. 3 of 12
4 4. Under Client Management, click My Authorized Representatives. 4 of 12
5 5. Click Add Authorized Representative. 5 of 12
6 6. Enter the first name, last name, and address of your Authorized Representative. Click Search. 6 of 12
7 7. Once the system finds your Authorized Representative`s account, click Generate Pin. You will need to share this pin with your Authorized Representative. (Skip ahead to Step 12 in this document.) 7 of 12
8 8. Under Client Management, click Redeem Pin. 8 of 12
9 9. Your client will receive a pin when they request to add you as an Authorized Representative. Retrieve this pin from your client. Enter this pin and click Validate Pin. 9 of 12
10 10. Confirm that the client information is correct. Click Submit. 10 of 12
11 11. You ve now gained access to a Client account! Click OK. Depending on the level of permissions your client has assigned to you, you will be able to view their services, sites, and payments by clicking the tabs under Client Management. 11 of 12
12 12. You ve now added an Authorized Representative to your account! Once your Authorized Representative has redeemed the pin through their account, they will appear under My Authorized Representatives. You will be able to manage their functions and permission level by clicking the Manage Authorized Rep button. Repeat steps 5 through 7 to add additional representatives. There is no limit to the number of representatives that you can have on your account. Sztella Rep has been added as an Authorized Representative. 12 of 12
13 13. By clicking the Manage Authorized Reps button, you can assign the Authorized Representative to oversee and manage your services (EASR Applications and/or sites) by selecting the drop down menu. You have the option to assign your representative as each of the following: Delegated Authority: They have access to all services associated with your account and can perform any actions on your behalf. Financial Authority: They are authorized to conduct payments and financial assurance transactions on your behalf. Authorized Representative: Depending on the permission levels you assign to them, they can create, update, view, assign, attest, and/or delete your registrations and applications. Click Submit. 13 of 12
