1 SSNL Online Membership Registration How- To We have now launched our new web site and are very excited to showcase this exciting platform. One of the new components of our site will be online membership registration. Starting in the school year there will be NO paper membership registration forms accepted. Please use this guide below and don t hesitate to ask our staff any questions should you have any issues. This is a new site so please keep in mind there may be a bug or two not foreseen so please contact us if you see anything that needs to be fixed. Thank- you and enjoy the site! This is the Membership Registration How- To Tutorial. Most of you may have already registered by paper form, but we need you to register here so that you can create a user account which will allow you to access your school page and in the case of Varsity schools register for tournaments. Let us begin: 1. There is a Membership Registration button located at the bottom left of the main launch page and then after that at the top right and bottom left of every other page on our site. 2. You will also see a login button next to the membership registration button on the top right of every page except the main launch page. You must first be a member in order to login so you must fill out the membership registration form first. Step 1 Click the Membership Registration button and you will be taken to the screenshot page listed below. In the fields to the left under Register : - Create a username (*We strongly suggest your username simply be your school name so that it is both easy to remember and if you move to another school the username will not have to change. There are no spaces allowed in your username). - Enter your / Create a password / Click Submit.

2 Step 2 School Information: - Check off which program you are registering for or both if that is the case. - Select your school from the drop down. - Select your region from the drop down. If you re registering for both the High School Varsity Program and PN then choose the Varsity Region. If you are just registering for PN and are unsure of which region you are in then open another tab, enter the PN side of our web site, and then click on Schools to view our region map and the region list breakdown. - Enter your school population, address, contact numbers, and web site. - Enter School sport name. - If you have a school athletic logo then add it here, as well as, put in your school colours. The school logo can be entered in your school account page at another time as well. - Click Next. - If you cannot move forward go back to make sure you ve not missed anything (indicated by a red warning box)

4 Step 3 Representative Information - Enter your principal s name and and click the permission verification box. - In the Athletic Director s information area, the first drop down will be empty on your first time registering, but for each successive year, whichever Athletic Director s names (or PN Representatives in the case of PN schools) you ve added will be available to select. You can also delete A.D./PN Rep. names that may leave your school in your own school account page. - Fill out the A.D. name and and click Add New Athletic Director if there is more than one A.D. or PN Representative you wish to list at your school. - Click Next.

5 Step 4 Coaches & Sports - Important Note: If you are only registering for SSNL Participation Nation then will not have to fill out Step 4. - Important Note: You can fill- in as many teacher- sponsors and coaches that you know of now or you can do this as you register for tournaments from your school account page. You MUST at least enter one of each here now. Each successive year you register you can access the names you entered via the drop down menu. - Choose a sport in the drop down menu and enter the teacher- sponsor and coach info. - Click Add New if you want to add a new Teacher- Sponsor or Coach for that sport. - Once you entered at least one of each for a single sport then click Next.

6 Step 5 Payment - Important Note: The SSNL fee structure is being reviewed and once completed the updated payment information and an online payment option will be available in this section. For this school year you will simply be invoiced the cost of registration and if you have already registered through a paper form this year then you do not have to worry about payment. Just continue with the next action so you can create an account. - Click the acknowledgments boxes at the bottom and then click Apply. Congratulations! You are now registered for School Sports NL. If applicable, your school will be invoiced the cost of registration. Your school account is now created. You can go to your school account page by clicking Account at the top right of the page.
