4 How To: Setup a Profile Your profile is a place to share more information about yourself, manage favorite charities, privacy settings and community messaging. Get Started My Info Add Your Profile Photo Create Your Skills Profile My Organizations Profile Settings Return Home
5 How To: Setup a Profile Get Started 1. Click on your Name in the top left corner and select My Profile
6 How To: Setup a Profile My Info A user s profile is a personal page where users can tell their story and support their favorite organizations. 1. Click Edit on the sections of the info page that you would like to provide details for
7 How To: Setup a Profile Add Your Profile Photo Adding a profile picture is optional. Users can also upload additional photos to display in their albums. 1. Click Add Photo to add profile picture 2. Click Browse to search for a photo from your computer 3. Check the Terms of Use and Use As My Profile Photo 4. Pick a photo album to store your photo 5. Click Save then Done
8 How To: Setup a Profile Board Memberships Adding your Board Membership(s) is optional. You can add your membership in this section and it will be preloaded when logging hours or creating an event with the organization you serve with. 1. Click Add New next to Board Memberships 2. Select your Board Role 3. Select Yes or No if you represent the company on the board 4. Enter the time period you served - begin and end date 5. Click Select an Organization and search for the charity, select from your favorites or Add Your Own 6. Click Save
9 How To: Setup a Profile My Organizations My Organizations is a place to select, manage and display users favorite charities. 1. Click Edit in the My Organizations section to search for your favorite organization by name or EIN 2. Click Select in the search results for the organization you want to add as a favorite 3. Press Save then Done
10 How To: Setup a Profile Settings Settings allow users to manage their privacy and customize the look and feel of their profile. The Language section allows users to choose from eight different language options The Reset Password option allows users to change their password 1. Language: Click Language, select preference, then click Edit Language 2. Reset Password: Click Reset Password, type in your new password, then click Reset Password Return Home

12 How To: Find a Charity Locate a charity using our general and advanced search tools to learn more about the organization, donate, and view the charity s volunteer opportunities. General Search Advanced Search Return Home
13 How To: Find a Charity General Organizations 1. Click the magnifying glass in the top right corner of the page OR Select the Charities tab 2. Enter the charity name or the charity EIN # (tax ID), then click Search Note: (If you do not find your charity, users can select suggest a new organization or read search tips located at the right of the of page.)

Select the preference organization from the following filters: Location- Select the Country, State, and/or City of the charity Category- Select the charity category from the drop-down menu Filter- Select each filter based on your search preference 2. Click the magnifying glass to search 3. Click View Page to view the organization s full charity page Return Home

16 How To: Log New Hours My Events is your personal volunteer dashboard where you can log past and future service hours. Log New Hours is a place to simply log the volunteer hours that you have or plan on providing for an event. Log New Hours Event Summary Add Details Manage Participants
17 How To: Log New Hours Log New Hours Log past and future events. Users can go back to My Events page to edit hours at any time. 1. Click the Volunteer tab at the top 2. Click Log New Hours
18 How To: Log New Hours Event Summary 1. Enter the Number of Hours you have or plan to volunteer 2. Enter the Event Name 3. Select a Participation Date and Time Check Event Repeats if the event is recurring 4. Enter the event Address, Country, State/Region, County, City & Zip If this is a virtual event, click Virtual Event? 5. Click Select an Organization Select the organization from your Favorites OR Search by name or EIN (advanced search is available) If you cannot locate your organization, Click Add your own Organization, fill out the organization information and click Save 6. Click Add More Details: add more event info Done if you are finished

Select your board membership role from the drop down) menu (optional) OR Click Create New, enter the board membership details and click Save 5. Click Done if you are finished Return Home

21 How To: Create Event (Recruit) Create Event(Recruit) is a way to create a volunteer event for others to join and participate in. These events are available to search and join by other employees. Event Organizers have the ability to edit the information at any time through the My Events page. My Volunteering Create Event (Recruit) Event Summary Add More Details Add More Details - Continued Manage Participants
22 How To: Create Event (Recruit) My Volunteering Create an event for other employees to join and participate. Users can go back to My Events page to edit hours at any time. 1. Click the Volunteer tab at the top 2. Click Create Event (Recruit)
23 How To: Create Event (Recruit) Event Summary 1. Enter the Event Name 2. Select an Event Start/End Date and Time - Check Event Repeats if the event is recurring - Select Is your event ongoing? if the event continues indefinitely 1. Enter the event Address, Country, State/Region, County, City & Zip If this is a virtual event, click Virtual Event? 2. Click Select an Organization Select the organization from your Favorites OR Search by name or EIN (advanced search is available) If you cannot locate your organization, Click Add your own Organization, fill out the organization information and click Save 3. Click Manage Participation: add yourself or others Add More Details: add more event info Save and View if you are finished **You may also save your event as a draft
24 How To: Create Event (Recruit) Add More Details 1. Add a Description for your event 2. Add a Photo for the event, (optional) Click Add A Photo select Browse, check the disclaimer and click Save 3. Add a Document for the event (optional) Click Add A Document select Browse, Name your file and click Add 4. Select Contact Name & (optional) Check Show if you are the main contact or click Add Contact Info to add an additional person 5. Review your Location Details 6. Enter Event Capacity (max number of volunteers needed) or Unlimited Volunteers If you select event capacity, select Activate/Manage Waitlist -if the event fills up, users can join a waitlist for the event OR Disable Waitlist if you do not wish a have a waitlist for the event 7. Activate Registration Dates (optional)

Select Activate Shifts & Activities if there are different activities or duties for the event (optional) Select Add a Shift & Activity Enter Shift/Activity Name, Date/Time (or ongoing), enter a Description, select the number of volunteers needed and click Add Shift 9. Select Default Participation hours (optional) - If you would like to set default hours for the participants, enter the number of hours you would like them to sign up with 10. Select Event Privacy (optional) 11. Select Manage Participation: add yourself or others or Save and View if you are finished

If you are participating in the event, click Add Yourself Enter your hours, select a shift and board membership (if applicable) and click Update 2. If you are adding people to your event, click Add Participants Click Add Individual People to search for one employee at a time Click Add Multiple People to download a formatted Excel sheet to upload multiple people at a time Click Add Family/Friends to add individuals who are outside the company 3. To add participant details, select the Participant s name Enter their hours, select a shift, and board membership (if applicable) and click Update 4. Select Add More Details: add more event info or Save and View if you are finished Return Home

30 How To: Search for a Volunteer Event Volunteer Type To begin your search for events, you can choose to select events by type. 1. To search by term, enter text into the top field and click Search AND/OR Filter volunteer events by Event Type (Celanese Foundation Events, Community Partners, Idealist, or Created by Charities) events, by checking the appropriate boxes 2. Click Apply Filters
31 How To: Search for a Volunteer Event Search Filters Select search filters to narrow down results and that best suit your interest. Events can be displayed on a Calendar and Map view. 1. Filter your search by: Virtual Events - online only Ongoing Events - Continues indefinitely, no end date Availability - Still Need Volunteers 2. Narrow your search by selecting a location (Near Postal Code, All Locations, or Specify Location) and date field (Upcoming, All Dates, or Custom Dates) 3. Click Search Return Home

33 How To: Record an Offline Donation If you've made a personal charitable donation to a non-profit outside of this site, you can record the donation and submit a request for your company to match the donation as part of the company s Matching Grants program. Select the organization from your Favorites OR Search for an organization 3. Select a designation for your specific project or cause (optional) 4. Upload a copy of your donation receipt 5. Click Save
36 How To: Record an Offline Donation Requesting a Matching Gift If you have recorded an offline donation that meets the following match criteria, you will be eligible for a match and receive a pop up once you click Save. - Must be a minimum of $25.00 USD - The organization must be listed on the site - The organization must be accepting donations through the site 1. Select Match the full amount 2. Click Submit 3. Select OK Return Home

38 How To: Make a Credit Card Donation You can make direct credit card donations through giving pages, charity pages and groups. Please note that there is a small processing fee for all credit card transactions. Search Organization Credit Donation Payment Process Return Home

Enter the organization name and click the magnifying glass to search Note: (If your organization is not listed, please submit your organization through or live chat) 3. Click View Page at the right of the preferred charity 4. Click Donate Now and select Credit Card (If your organization does not accept donations, please contact celanesefoundationsupport@yourcause.com)

Add a Designation (optional) Please note: Our process ensures designations are passed to the organization. However, we do not guarantee they will use your gift in the manner you specify. Donation History: View details of past donations (select last quarter or type in a specific date range) 5. Export Summary: Users can view donation details for past years by selecting the Export Summary and the year they wish to view Return Home

46 How To: Redeem a Cause Card Celanese has a global volunteering goal of 100,000 hours. For every hour you volunteer you re eligible for a $10 Cause Card, which will be disbursed on a quarterly basis. Cause Cards can be redeemed to any eligible charity listed on the Celanese website.
