1 PERSONAL ebanking LOGIN AND ENROLLMENT INSTRUCTIONS STEP ONE: Go to ebanking via the McHenry Savings Bank website and access the Personal ebanking tab at the top of the page in the green box. STEP TWO: Enter your current USER ID, the same one you have always used, and click CONTINUE.
2 STEP THREE: You will get a ONE TIME SECURITY CODE screen. Click CONTINUE WITH SECURITY CODE. Step 3 and 4 You can click on CONTINUE WITH SECURITY CODE to see what phone numbers the Bank has associated with your account. If none of the phone numbers match or you do not have access to the phone at this time click on ANSWER VERIFICATION QUESTIONS which are taken directly from public records that have your name associated with them. To protect your account information, you will have three opportunities to get these questions correct before the system locks you out for 24 hours. McHenry Savings Bank DOES NOT control this lock out process. STEP FOUR: If you see your correct number and CLICK THE CIRCLE IN PHONE you will be called and must answer the phone at that time to receive complete directions. If you CLICK THE CIRCLE NEXT TO SEND A TECT MESSAGE the code will be sent to your phone via text. 4 th At the ONE TIME SECURITY CODE screen, you will be asked to select a phone number to receive a text message or a phone call. Both will give you a ONE TIME SECURITY CODE: if to your mobile in will be a text or if to your non mobile phone it will be a voice recording. You must open the text message to receive the correct code or answer your phone to hear the correct code. Click CONTINUE WITH SECURITY CODE button. Choose a phone number from one of the preset numbers associated with your account.
3 If the ONE TIME Security Code does not work, or if your phone number is not listed, you can continue to log in or enroll by clicking CONTINUE WITH SECRUITY QUESTIONS or MY PHONE NUMBER IS NOT LISTED on the ONE TIME SECURITY CODE Page. At this point you will be asked additional security questions. Please remember to put in your birthdate as MMDDYYYY. This step is VERY important! Addition public record questions will also be given to you that only you know the answers. Please answer the additional security questions correctly so the system can identify you. NOTE: You are given three chances to answer the additional security questions. If incorrect all three times, you will be locked out of answering these questions again for 24 hours. McHenry Savings Bank DOES NOT control this part of the process. STEP FIVE: Enter the ONE TIME SECURITY CODE given to you in step four on the ONE TIME SECURITY CODE page in the ONE TIME security code box and click on SUBMIT button. STEPS SIX & SEVEN: CURRENT PASSWORD IS YOUR TEMPORARY PASSWORD (last 6 digits of ss#/fein)
4 6 th After you successfully answered the security questions, you will get a CURRENT PASSWORD screen. YOUR CURRENT PASSWORD IS THE LAST SIX DIGITS OF YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY OR FEIN NUMBER (THIS WAS THE TEMPORARY PASSWORD THE BANK ASSIGNED TO YOU prior to the upgrade.) After entering your CURRENT PASSWORD, LAST 6 DIGITS OF YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY OR FEIN NUMBER, click the SUBMIT button. 7 th Next, you will need to create a new password. You will enter your new password twice; once in the NEW PASSWORD field and once in the CONFIRM NEW PASSWORD field. Both must be identical. YOUR PASSWORD FOR THE NEW SYSTEM MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS: Be 8-32 Characters in length Include 2 numbers (0-9) Include 1 special character Here is a Sample of the special characters ~!@#$%&*+^=? Include 1 UPPERCASE letter Include 1 lowercase letter New Password Example: w3rur#1b@nk! please do NOT use this for your new password WRITE YOUR NEW PASSWORD DOWN and keep with your records. STEP EIGHT: Success! Press continue!
5 STEP NINE: You will get the ONLINE BANKING TERMS AND CONDITION and be prompted to click on the terms and conditions link, and after reading and agreeing to them, click the box to ACCEPT TERMS AND CONDITIONS, then hit SUBMIT. Click on the link Online Banking Disclosure You must open this document before proceeding. Disclosures are also on the Banks homepage at the bottom. Click in the box that you agree and have read. Disclosures are also located on the bottom of our webpage. STEP TEN: You should now have full access to the ebanking system with all of your MSB accounts listed. You can now establish your ebanking for use with the Mobile App. You can get your detailed account information by double clicking on your account number or using the Accounts tab at the top. You can also set up your bill pay from the Accounts Tab or the button directly to the right of your accounts. Customer Service tab allows you to update your information, stop checks and order checks online. We will be offering workshops on this new product in early September once we get all customers signed on. To sign up to receive estatements, go to the Accounts Tab and click on STATEMENTS. This is a split screed with a code request on the top third of the screen and the estatement disclosure on the bottom two-thirds of the screen. Scroll to the bottom of the estatement disclosure and get the code. Enter that code in the box at the top of your screen and press CONTINUE. You are now signed up for estatements.
