ABOUT THE PIXELvienna Since its founding in 2007, the annual PIXELVienna conference, is an ongoing success. Originated out of the Computer Graphics Forum Austria ( the non-profit conference is exclusively organized by volunteers. Roughly 40 people, among them artists, programmers of all kinds, researchers, students as well as enthusiasts, promote and deal with all matters relating to the general management. The PIXELvienna conference will continue its efforts to provide a platform for communication and presentation of the national and international computer graphics industry, encouraging a new generation of professionals and stimulating the growth of this young and internationally oriented industry.

3 ANIMATIONFESTIVAL The Animation Festival at the PIXELvienna Conference is the perfect show to get you up-to-date with the hot productions from around the world. Every year we offer the fantastic showreel of the SIGGRAPH Computer Animation Festival, the Prix Ars Electronica and the Austrian Computer Graphics Award with projects ranging from student films and animated narratives to commercials, game trailers and music videos. The centrally located Top Kino is the perfect location. PIXELvienna PARTY & BATTLE The PIXELvienna Party is the perfect place for PIXELvienna conference guests to socialize and revel in relaxed atmosphere. It has become a fix part and highlight of the three-day conference. The exciting and entertaining main act of the PIXELvienna Party are the Artist Battles: Two counterparts, one subject-matter and 30 minutes to make the best out of the job. For the implementation every tool is allowed, no matter if paper and pen or a digital solution with the preferred software. During the performance the audience can watch the different creative approaches in real-time beamed on two big screens accompanied by DJ-Sets.

5 The Location THE VIENNA UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY The check-in for lectures, workshops and get-togethers will be at the foyer in the first floor of the University of Technology. If you are exhibiting your product/company at a stand, it will be located in this area. Tables (approx. 140cm x 70cm, height 74cm) and electrical outlets are available. On the following pages you will find detailed layouts of the areas available for your use. 6 The Location TU Wien, Floors 3 & 4 The Kuppelsaal is our grand room for lectures. It is located directly atop to the foyer on the 4th floor of the building. The Foyer is the area where guests arrive on the 3rd floor of the building, next to the elevator. The yellow marked area also contains the wardrobe and buffet and is accessible without conference ticket.
