5 1 Introduction 1.1 Purpose This document describes or lists the accessible UDP/TCP ports of the MiVoice Office 400. In addition the various ports of the devices which are used by the MiVoice Office 400 are shown, e.g. the Mitel SIP Terminals incl. the SIP DECT, the MMCC, the Media Gateway(s) (EIP), etc.. The document is addressed to the IT administrators who integrate the Mitel equipment in their IP network, for example to make some of the Mitel services accessible to/from the public, e.g. SIP telephony to/from a SIP provider. 1.2 Summary The TCP/UDP port usage or its related service depends on the device where the port is located. The devices or applications used in combination with the MiVoice Office 400 are: The MiVoice Office 400 application itself The Media Gateway (EIP) located on the MiVoice Office 400 The MiVoice 5300 IP phones The Mitel 6700 SIP and 6800 SIP phones The Standard SIP terminals The Mitel SIP DECT terminals/equipment The Mitel Mobile Client Controller The MiVoice 2380 and 1560 soft phone The Open Interface Platform The QoS Analyser The Mitel Dialer The Mitel BluStar The Mitel MiCollab server and clients The Mitel MiCC ContactCenter server It can be stated that the pair port number and the related service, do not differ from the well-known port/service pair defined by the ITEF/IANA, in most cases. An example is the port 20 and 21 for the FTP server; this is used by the devices which supports an FTP server. All other port areas, like the user or the dynamic ports are specific to the implementation of the device and can be looked up in the table(s) specified in this document. 1.3 Further Steps Review the document. 1.4 References None. 1.5 Definitions and Abbreviations AIN: BSC: Advanced Intelligent Network.
