2 3 4 Start General operation The Configurator for System M is a planning program which can be accessed on our website. It is suitable for desktop computers and tablets. From a functional point of view operation with a smartphone is not possible. The Configurator allows the planning of standard configurations for System M. This is done in different representations: view, measure view and rendering, which is a coloured perspective. It is possible to display a list of items of the created configuration and to create a price calculation. The Configurator is accessible online for retailers, architects, planners and end users. A login allows the user to save drawings, open and modify stored drawings, and export 3D data. But even without login you can create your own drawings. On the following pages we describe how to use the Configurator for an easy handling of this planning tool. Start When you have started the S+ Configurator, a wall and a floor are visible in the drawing area. Blue measure chains show their dimensions. The surface on the screen is divided into three different areas: Drawing area 1 In this area your planning is born. It shows a wall and a floor. Menu bar at the top 2 Here are the menu options like login, open, examples, views, save, print and export. Menu bar on the right 3 Here are the menu options like Room, System Colour, System M Shelf and System M Sideboard. In the individual tabs you select the System M elements to be integrated into the drawing and drag and drop their illustrations into the drawing area to position them. 42 Imprint 2 3
3 Basic functions of the Configurator Basic functions of the Configurator General operation Open and close the window To open a window, click the name of the window. To close a window, click the name of the window in the upper area. Open and close the tab To open a tab, click the name of the tab. To close a tab, select the next tab you want to open. Select article 5 Arrows beside the illustration of an article indicate that several items are available. To scroll through the articles, click the arrows. Points below the illustration of an article indicate how many items are available. You can also select them directly. The selected item is marked with a blue circle. Select dimensions Under the illustration of an article, the field displays the selected depth, height or length of the article. This is different depending on the item selected. Arrows next to the measurements indicate that several dimensions are available. To scroll through the dimensions, click the arrows. Insert the article into the drawing Drawing in the configurator is done by drag and drop. Using the mouse or the finger, drag the illustration of the article to be inserted into the drawing area on the wall. The article appears on the mouse pointer or on your finger and can be positioned on the wall or on the floor. If the item is at the desired location, release the mouse button or lift your finger Measuring chains facilitate positioning. Move elements in the drawing The prerequisite is the selection of the corresponding tap to be able to move elements. To move, select the item in the drawing with the mouse or your finger and change its position. Measure chains indicate the clear distances to the next element. If an article is displayed in red, it cannot be positioned at the selected location. If you then release the mouse button or raise your finger, the article will be deleted. Move a whole shelf or sideboard The prerequisite is the selection of the corresponding window to be able to move shelves and sideboards. To move a whole shelf (open the window System M Shelf) or sideboard (open the window System M Sideboard), use the blue measure chains outside the wall and drag the measure chains until the desired value is reached. Shelves and sideboards can be moved horizontally and vertically (no ground-based shelves and freestanding sideboards) depending on the type of mounting. Delete items in the drawing The prerequisite is the selection of the corresponding tap in order to delete elements. If you want to delete an element, drag it from the wall until it is displayed in red. 4 5
4 General menu functions General menu functions Login (Top menu bar) To open the Login menu, click on Login. Login If you are already registered, enter your username ( address) and your password (at least 6 characters). Then click the Login button. Forgot Password If you have forgotten your password, you can request this from us. To do this, click Forgotten password?. The Forgot Password window opens. Enter your address. This must be the address associated with your account. Then click the Request button. The system sends your password to the linked address. Register new user You can register with us as a user in order to benefit from further advantages. As a planner, you can save drawings and open saved drawings. You also have additional export options. You can download 3D data from the created drawing and send inquiries. Please choose your address to which you have direct access. Assign a password that must be at least 6 characters. Consider the password well, the more different the characters, the more secure the password. Protect your password from accessing others. Repeat your password in the field provided. If you register as a retailer enter your retailer code in the field provided (see next chapter). If you are not a retailer, leave the field empty. Then click the Register button. By registering you agree to our terms and conditions, our privacy policy and the use of cookies. Retailer code As an S+ retailer you have the opportunity to legitimize yourself with a code as a S+ retailer. The code is only available from S + Systemmöbel GmbH. By entering the code once when you register, your customer data is already stored in the various export options. If you do not yet have a retailer code you can request it from us. To do this, click Request. The Retailer Code window opens. Please enter your details and click the Request button. After examination you will receive your retailer code from S+. Keep the code well and do not pass it on to anyone outside. The code applies to all employees of a retailer. Delete user You have the option to delete all your personal data permanently. Enter your username and password and click the Delete button. Logout To unsubscribe from the configurator, click on the lock in symbol in the top menu bar. To close the Login window, click on the name of the window in the upper area. 6 7
5 General menu functions General menu functions Open (Top menu bar) Examples (Top menu bar) This window is only available if you have registered and if you are logged in. To open the Open menu, click on Open. Choose Here you will find your already saved configurations of System M. You can open and edit the drawings. The drawings are stored for a maximum of one year. Click a filename. The preview is visible in the left window. Then click the Open button. When saving an already saved file, a new version of this file is saved. So different stages can be secured. Always delete unnecessary files for a better overview. To do so, select the desired filename and then click the Delete button. To open the Examples menu, click on Examples. Choose Here you can find different examples for System M. The previews show typical configurations of shelves and sideboards. These examples can be opened and edited further. To do this, click on the respective preview image and then on the Open button. If you have registered and logged in, you can save these examples for yourself and reopen them later. To close the Examples window, click Examples in the upper area. You create a new drawing by reloading the browser. To do this, click the appropriate icon in the browser you are using. The login is retained. To close the Open window, click Open in the upper area. 8 9

The current selection is highlighted in blue. Then click the Select button. View for drawing This is the view where you create the drawing. When you drag an illustration from the right-hand menu bar into the left-hand drawing area, this view is automatically displayed. Measure view The measure view shows at a glance all measure chains in the drawing. For example, the clear measures between the shelves are displayed. Rendering perspective Rendering is a coloured perspective. You can rotate the view using the mouse key and use the left arrow keys in the drawing area to move the view. The set perspective is adopted for the printout. This window is only available if you have registered and if you are logged in. To open the Save menu, click on Save. Save To save your drawing, assign a filename. In addition, you have the option to specify a commission and in the notes field, you can write down additional notes. Then click the Save button. When saving an already saved file, a new version of this file is saved. So different stages can be secured. Always delete unnecessary files for a better overview in the Open window. Select the desired elements by selecting the circle before or the name. The current selection is highlighted in blue. Multiple selection is possible. Then click the Print button. A window with the created PDF in DIN A4 format opens. Make sure your browser does not suppress the opening of external windows. Price calculation sales price excl. VAT The price calculation lists all parts of the drawing like the item list and displays the selling price without VAT. As a registered retailer you will receive a corresponding offer with your stored data. Drawing measure view Choose drawing and the front view and the measure view are created on the pages. This window is only available if you have registered and are logged in. To open the Export menu, click on Export. Select the desired export option by selecting the circle before it or the name. The current selection is highlighted in blue. Then click the Export button. Make sure your browser does not suppress opening. PDF If you choose PDF, a PDF with price calculation, drawings and rendering will be created. This PDF can be printed or saved locally. 3D data If you select 3D data then your drawing is created as a *.3ds file and can be saved locally and then imported into your own planning program. Rendering Choose Rendering to create the rendering. The perspective previously set under View is used. Mounting instructions Select mounting instructions, the mounting instructions are attached to the PDF. They can also be found in the download area on our website. To close the Print window, click Print in the top area. Send request The option Send request offers the possibility to request the desired configuration from one of our retailers. He can offer you the delivery and the professional assembly. To do this, click the Next button. The Request window opens. Enter your contact information in the appropriate fields. Select a retailer by entering a postal code and then select a retailer from the list. If the delivery address differs from the invoice address, you can also enter it. If the addresses are identical, select the circle in front or Delivery address corresponds to the invoice address. Then click the Next button. The window with the to be sent will open. Order invoice address, etc. The selection order is only available to you if you have qualified as a S+ retailer with the retailer code. The option Order offers the possibility to order the selected configuration directly from S+ Systemmöbel GmbH. To do this, click the Next button. The Order window opens. The fields for invoice address and delivery address are already filled in by the previous deposit of the retailer code. If the delivery address corresponds to the invoice address, select the circle before or Delivery address corresponds to invoice address. If you would like a delivery address other than the one shown, please inform us in the next step. Please note that additional charges may apply. Please fill in the fields Processor, Order number and Commission. The delivery time is approx. 4-5 weeks ex factory. Then click the Next button. The window with the to be sent will open. Here you have the possibility to overwrite the text of the . You can also send a copy of the order to your own address. Please select the circle before or Send copy to my address. Then click the Send button. The order will be sent to order@systemmoebel-plus.com. In the following days you will receive an order confirmation from S
9 Define the spatial conditions Define the spatial conditions Room (Menu bar on the right) To open the menu Room, click on Room. Select the desired options by selecting the circle before it. The current selection is highlighted in blue. Wall Here you can specify the size of the wall in cm. Click in the field with the wall width and overwrite the default value. Proceed with the room height accordingly. Door If the wall has a door, you can also display this by clicking on the circle in front of Door, the circle becomes a blue point and a door appears in the view. Now determine the width and height of the door frame and the distance of the door from the left side of the wall by overwriting the preset dimensions. Wall colour To display a coloured perspective, you can also select the wall colour. Click on the preset colour space and a selection window opens. Click on the desired colour. The wall colour can be changed at any time. If you want to plan a freestanding sideboard, click on the blue point in front of Wall, you can remove the display of the wall. You can rotate the view in the rendering around the sideboard. A shelf or a wall-mounted sideboard can then no longer be planned. To close the Wall colour selection window, click Wall colour in the upper area. The view will automatically change to Rendering and you will see the selected wall colour in your drawing

You have the choice between a floor colour or parquet light (preselected) or parquet dark. To open the System colour menu, click on System colour. Select the desired options by selecting the circle before or the name. The current selection is highlighted in blue. System colour Select the desired system colour for System M. There are 4 standard colours to choose from. The system colour can be changed at any time. To close the System colour menu, click System colour in the upper area. Floor colour To select the floor colour, click on the preset colour area and a selection window opens. Click on the desired colour. The floor colour can be changed at any time. To close the Floor colour selection window, click Floor Colour in the upper area. The view will automatically change to Rendering and you will see the selected system colour on your drawn System M Shelf or Sideboard. System M is also available in special colours RAL. These can not be displayed with the configurator. To close the menu Room, click Room in the upper area. The view will automatically change to Rendering and you will see the selected floor colour in your drawing

Select the desired options by selecting the circle before or the name. The current selection is highlighted in blue. Mounting type (Wall mounted) Start with the selection of the desired mounting type: Wallmounted (preselected) or Ground-based. The mounting type can be modified at any time. This also changes the list of items and the sales price is updated. Please note that the ground-based wall mounting is available only if the vertical profiles of 184, 204 and 224 cm are used before. To close the Mounting type tab, click the next tab you want to open. To close the menu System M Shelf, click System M Shelf in the upper area. To open the menu System M Shelf, click on System M Shelf. The Mounting type tab is already open. Select the desired options by selecting the circle before or the name. The current selection is highlighted in blue. Mounting type (Ground-based) Start with the selection of the desired mounting type: Wallmounted (preselected) or Ground-based. Select the mounting type Ground-based. The mounting type can be modified at any time. This also changes the list of items and the price is updated. If the c-profiles are used before, the respective vertical wall profiles of 184, 204 and 224 cm are used for direct wall mounting. To close the Mounting type tab, click the next tab you want to open. Profiles (Vertical wall profiles) First use the arrow keys to select the desired length of the profiles. You can choose between 84, 104, 124, 144, 164, 184, 204 and 224 cm. Drag the illustration of the profile into the drawing area on the wall using the mouse or the finger. The profile appears on the mouse pointer or on your finger and can be positioned on the wall. If the element is in the desired position, release the mouse button or lift the finger. Measuring chains facilitate positioning. In height this can be done every 4 cm. Necessary distances to the doors and walls are taken into account. The minimum distance between the floor and the ceiling is 8 cm. As soon as you draw a second profile into the drawing, it can only be positioned in the grid of 80 or 120 cm to the first profile. Different profile lengths can be combined and profiles can also be placed one on top of the other. To close the Profiles tab, click on the next tab you want to open. To open the Profiles tab, click on Profiles. Profiles (C-profiles + vertical wall profiles) If Ground-based wall mounting was previously selected, the c-profiles including the matching vertical wall profiles are displayed in this area. When positioning in the drawing, they are taken into account with the necessary wall mounts in the list of items. First select the desired length using the arrow keys. Three total heights are available: 204, 224 and 244 cm. Drag the illustration of the profile into the drawing area on the wall using the mouse or the finger. The profile appears on the mouse pointer or on your finger and can be positioned on the wall. If the element is in the desired position, release the mouse button or lift the finger. Measuring chains facilitate positioning. The c-profiles are always on the floor. Necessary distances to the doors and walls are taken into account. As soon as you draw a second profile into the drawing, it can only be positioned in the grid of 80 or 120 cm to the first profile. Different lengths can be combined with each other. You have the choice between Panel and Panel perforated. Then select the desired height of the panels using the lower arrow keys. You can choose between 8, 20 and 40 cm. Using the mouse or the finger, drag the illustration of the panels into the drawing area on the wall between the profiles. The configurator determines the grid width itself, it knows whether it is 80 cm or 120 cm. If the element is in the desired position, release the mouse button or raise your finger. To close the Panels tab, click the next tab you want to open. To open the Floors tab, click on Shelves. Shelves First select the item using the top arrow keys. You have the choice between the Shelf, Shelf 0.5 file level, Ending and writing shelf, Sloping shelf 0.5 file level, Shelf for coat-hangers, Drawer shelf and Drawer shelf 0.5 file level. Then select the desired depth of the article using the lower arrow keys. Not every item is available at all depths. Use the mouse or your finger to drag the illustration of the shelf into the drawing area on the wall between the profiles. The configurator determines the grid width itself, it knows whether it is 80 cm or 120 cm. If the element is in the desired position, release the mouse button or raise your finger. You have the choice between Corpus open 1 file level, Corpus with hinged door 1 file level, Corpus with drawer 1 file level and Corpus with 2 drawers 0.5 file level. All the corpora have the same depth. Use the mouse or the finger to drag the illustration of the corpus into the drawing area on the wall between the profiles. The configurator determines the grid width itself, it knows whether it is 80 cm or 120 cm. If the element is in the desired position, release the mouse button or raise your finger. To open the Tables tab, click on Tables. Tables The tables do not require any further selection. The table depth is 80 cm. Use the mouse or the finger to drag the illustration of the table into the drawing area on the wall between the profiles. The configurator determines the grid width itself, it knows whether it is 80 cm or 120 cm. If the element is in the desired position, release the mouse button or raise your finger. Tables are always positioned with their feet standing on the floor. The table height is 72 cm. To close the Tables tab, click the next tab you want to open. To close the Corpora tab, click on the next tab you want to open
15 Drawing a System M Shelf To open the Accessories tab, click on Accessoires. The Accessories window with a list of all accessories for System M opens and darkens the drawing area. Accessories The available accessories for the current planning are available in the list. Enter the desired number in the fields. Some articles offer several choices. Accessories are not shown in the drawing and appear only in the list of items. Spacer Ground-based wall mounting On our own behalf The Configurator is a tool, a computer program. It is very good but cannot replace the retailer with his experiences. Please check your drawing using the list of items. If something in the drawing does not look right it may be that the list of items is not correct. Should you be unsure please contact us. The Mounting type tab is already open. Select the desired options by selecting the circle before or the name. The current selection is highlighted in blue. Mounting type (Wall mounted) Start with the selection of the desired mounting type: Wall mounted (preselected) or Ground-based. To close the Mounting type tab, click the next tab you want to open. To close the System M Sideboard menu, click System M Sideboard in the upper area. To open the System M Sideboard menu, click on System M Sideboard. The Mounting type tab is already open. Select the desired options by selecting the circle before or the name. The current selection is highlighted in blue. Mounting type (Freestanding) Start with the selection of the desired mounting type: Wall mounted (preselected) or Freestanding. Select the Mounting type Freestanding. To close the Mounting type tab, click the next tab you want to open. To close the System M Sideboard menu, click System M Sideboard in the upper area. If you have selected the Mounting type Wall mounted, the selection for Feet and castors is deactivated. If you have selected the Mounting type Freestanding, the selection for Profiles and Wallboard is deactivated. If you want to plan a freestanding sideboard, click on the blue point in front of the wall in the Room window. So you remove the display of the wall and you can rotate the rendering view around the sideboard
17 Drawing a wall mounted System M Sideboard Drawing a System M Wallboard Prerequisite for the possibility to select Profiles is the selection of the Mounting type Wall mounted. To open the Profiles tab, click on Profiles. Select the desired options by selecting the circle before or the name. The current selection is highlighted in blue. Profiles (Horizontal wall profiles) Start by selecting the desired profiles: Sideboard (preselected) or Wallboard. Use the arrow keys to select the desired length. You can choose between 80, 120, 160, 200 and 240 cm. Several corpora can be hung on a profile. Drag the illustration of the profile into the drawing area on the wall using the mouse or the finger. The profile appears on the mouse pointer or on your finger and can be positioned on the wall. If the element is in the desired position, release the mouse button or lift the finger. Measure chains and dashed lines for the representation of a corpus 1 file level facilitate positioning. As soon as you draw a second profile into the drawing, it can only be positioned in such a way that the grid spacing 80 and 120 cm is maintained. Different profiles can be combined with each other. Make sure that the addition of the profile lengths corresponds to the length of the sideboard. To close the Profile tab, click on the next tab you want to open. Prerequisite for the possibility to select Profiles is the selection of the Mounting type Wall mounted. To open the Profiles tab, click on Profiles. Select the desired options by selecting the circle before or the name. The current selection is highlighted in blue. Profiles (Horizontal profiles for wallboard) Start by selecting the desired profiles: Sideboard (preselected) or Wallboard. Select Wallboard. Then use the arrow keys to select the desired length. You can choose between 80 and 120 cm. Each wallboard requires a profile with the same length as the wallboard. Drag the illustration of the profile into the drawing area on the wall using the mouse or the finger. The profile appears on the mouse pointer or on your finger and can be positioned on the wall. If the element is in the desired position, release the mouse button or lift the finger. Measure chains and dashed lines for the representation of the wallboard facilitate the positioning. As soon as you draw a second profile into the drawing, it can only be positioned in such a way that the grid spacing 80 and 120 cm is maintained. Different profiles can be combined with each other in a row. To close the Profile tab, click on the next tab you want to open
18 Drawing a freestanding System M Sideboard Drawing a freestanding System M Sideboard Prerequisite for the possibility of selecting Feet and castors is the selection of the Mounting type Freestanding. To open the Feet and castors tab, click on Feet and castors. Select the desired options by selecting the circle before or the name. The current selection is highlighted in blue. Feet Start with the selection of the desired elements: Feet (preselected) or Castors. Four feet are now automatically added to each corpus you insert into the drawing. The selection can be changed at any time. This also changes the list of items and the sales price is updated. To close the Feet and Castors tab, click the next tab you want to open. Prerequisite for the possibility of selecting Feet and castors is the selection of the Mounting type Freestanding. To open the Feet and castors tab, click on Feet and castors. Select the desired options by selecting the circle before or the name. The current selection is highlighted in blue. Castors Start with the selection of the desired elements: Feet (preselected) or Castors. Select Castors. Then use the arrow keys to select the desired version. You have the choice between hard castors for soft floors like carpet and soft castors for hard floors such as parquet. Four wheels, two with and two without arrestors, are now automatically added to each corpus you insert into the drawing. The selection can be changed at any time. This also changes the list of items and the sales price is updated. To close the Feet and castors tab, click the next tab you want to open. Castors should only be used up to a corpus height of 1.5 file levels
19 Drawing a System M Wallboard Frequently asked Questions Prerequisite for the possibility of selecting Wallboard is the selection of the Mounting type Wall mounted. A Wall profile of the same length as the Wallboard is required for each Wallboard. This must have been previously placed in the drawing. To open the Wallboard tab, click on Wallboard. Wallboard First select the desired depth of the article using the lower arrow keys. You can choose between 18 and 24 cm. Use the mouse or the finger to drag the wallboard illustration into the drawing area on the wall. The Wallboard appears on the mouse pointer or on your finger and can be positioned on the wallboard profile. If the element is in the desired position, release the mouse button or raise your finger. To close the Wallboard tab, click the next tab you want to open. How can I display a list of items? To do this, open the window View and select List of items and click the Open button. Why can I not move items in the drawing? The prerequisite is the selection of the corresponding tap to be able to move elements. To move, select the item in the drawing with the mouse or the finger and change its position. Measure chains indicate the clear distances to the next element. You can rotate the perspective using the mouse or the finger and move it with the arrow keys in the left of the drawing area. The last set perspective is used for the printout
20 Drawing a wall mounted System M Sideboard Drawing a freestanding System M Sideboard For the corpora horizontal wall profiles are required in the same overall length as the corpora. These must have previously been placed in the drawing. To open the Corpora tab, click on Corpora. Corpora First select the item using the top arrow keys. You have the choice between Drawer corpus 0.5 file level, Corpus open 1 file level, Corpus open 1.5 file levels and Corpus open 2 file levels. All the corpora have the same depth. 21 Drawing a System M Sideboard Drawing a System M Sideboard To open the Fronts tap, click on Fronts. Fronts First select the item using the top arrow keys. You have the choice between Hinged door 1 file level, Drawer 1 file level, Pair of drawers 0.5 file level and drawer 0.5 file level. Use the mouse or the finger to drag the illustration into the drawing area in front of the open corpus. The configurator determines the grid width itself, it knows whether it is 80 cm or 120 cm. If the element is in the desired position, release the mouse button or raise your finger. To close the Fronts tab, click the next tab you want to open. The single Drawer 0.5 file level can only be positioned in the top of the Corpus open 1.5 file levels. The System M drawers have no pull-out lock. For freestanding corpora Safety brackets are available for securing against the wall and Counterweights to compensate the use of drawers. The selection is made in the Accessories tab. To open the Accessories tab, click on Accessoires. The Accessories window with a list of all accessories for System M opens and darkens the drawing area. Accessories The available accessories for the current planning are available in the list. Enter the desired number in the fields. Some articles offer several choices. Accessories are not shown in the drawing and appear only in the list of items.
