1 How to find the MAC address of your computer To complete the Application for Network Connection, it is required that you include your MAC address. Explanations are provided for the following systems. Windows Windows 10 Windows 8.1 Windows 7 Mac OS X Mac OS X Lion(10.7),Mac OS X Mountain Lion(10.8),Mac OS X Mavericks(10.9),Mac OS X Yosemite(10.10),Mac OS X El Capitan(10.11),macOS Sierra(10.12) Mac OS X Snow Leopard(10.6) Mac OS X Leopard(10.5) ios iphone,ipod touch,ipad
2 Windows 10 1) Click the Cortana search box in the left corner of the screen. 2) In the Cortana search box, type cmd then select Command Prompt.
3 3)A command prompt window will appear as below. Type the command code getmac v (Make sure there is a space before the -v ) Press Enter. 4)For a wired LAN connection: The MAC address will be in the same line as Ethernet under the heading Physical Address : For a wireless LAN connection: The MAC address will be in the same line as Wi-Fi or Wireless under the heading Physical Address : 5)Once you have verified your computer s MAC address, close the window by clicking the X in the upper right hand corner.
4 Windows 8.1 1)Point the mouse to either the top or bottom right corner of the screen. 2)This will bring up the Charm bar on the right side of the screen. 3)Click the Search icon. 4)In the Search bar, type cmd. 5)Apps Search result will appear in the under. Click the Command Prompt.

Type the command code getmac v (Make sure there is a space before the -v ) Press Enter. 7)For a wired LAN connection: The MAC address will be in the same line as Ethernet under the heading Physical Address : For a wireless LAN connection: The MAC address will be in the same line as Wi-Fi or Wireless under the heading Physical Address : 8)Once you have verified your computer s MAC address, close the window by clicking the X in the upper righthand corner.
