1 ArchiCAD 15 Install Instructions For the best experience with ArchiCAD 15, we recommend the following set of system specifications. Minimum System Requirements Microsoft Windows XP SP3, Vista or Windows 7 both 32 & 644 bits 5GB or more local hard disk space Intel Pentium 4 CPU or faster recommended 32bit OS 2BG Ram / 64-Bit OS 3GB Ram recommended 256 MB video card supporting OpenGL and Direct X9 compatible (On-board GPU s not recommended) 1024x768 screen (32-bit true color recommended d) Insert the Edition 5 Installationn Disk into your DVD drive. Note: This is a DVD disk and may not be readable if you do not see the logo on your drive. Once the disk is in the drive our installation menu will Autorun. Click on the Button labeled Graphisoft - ArchiCAD

2 Select either the 32bit or 64bit version that matches the Operating System you are using. Choose the Next button. 1. Select the option I have a Serial number for ArchiCAD 2. click the NEXT button. st Ave, Peoria, Arizona

3 Please enter your User ID and Serail number and select NEXT. Note: You must type this information in exactly as provided before the next button with be available. 4 Select the type of installationn you wish to do. The Typical installation is the most common. If you are using a School serial number the last option Installation Package Creation will also be available. This option will build a silent install package that can easily be run on additional computers. Note: Installation Package Creation is not available if the serial number is a Student of Instructor copy. Choose the NEXT button. Select the Install button to start the installation. 5 The Installation will take approx min depending on the speed of the computer. This dialog will create icon and shrotcutss to start the program. There is also an option to Enable Update Checking Automatically. We recommend disabling this option or throught the year studentss will be notified to install update as they come out. You can always manually check for updates from the Help pulldown menu. Test the install to verify if runs. Double click on the ArchiCAD 155 Icon created on the desktop. When the Welcome Screen is displayedd click on it to continue or wait 30 seconds. st Ave, Peoria, Arizona

6 When the Start ArchiCAD15 screen appears choose the NEW button in the lower right. Exit ArchiCAD and Install the EcoDesigner Plugin. Choose EcoDesiger from the Graphisoft Products Page. Select Extract to continue. Note: If you are doing multiple installations change the extraction folder to a network location and uncheck the Delete Temporary Files after Installation checkbox. On the additional PC s go to the network location and run setup.exe without the need to the DVDD disc on the additional computer. st Ave, Peoria, Arizona

7 After the extraction is finished Select Install EcoDesigner. Choose NEXT to continue. Verify the installation location is where ArchiCAD 15 is installed and Choose NEXT. Select the I Accept option and Choose NEXT. st Ave, Peoria, Arizona

8 Verify the Summary and select INSTALL. The installation is complete. Click Finish to Exit. EcoDesigner is a plugin for ArchiCAD and will not create an icon to lauch the software. It is used inside ArchiCAD, to verify that it was installed and working Lauch ArchiCAD 15 and look for the EcoDesigner logo added to the ArchiCAD Splash screen. st Ave, Peoria, Arizona
