4.2.2 Scale Turn auto scale on to let the software dynamically adjust the scale, or turn it off to manually enter a minimum and maximum value for the trace. Scale to View Scale to View reconfigures your scales to fit within the current viewing window and puts your traces into a manual mode. This functionality, which applies to linked or individual traces, is limited to your present time, and will not continuously readjust if you scroll or change your zoom level. Linked Scales Enable linked scales to link all the ranges in a column together and edit their range as a group. When scales are linked, a link icon appears next to the corresponding/connected scales. Enable Auto Range to find the min/max range of all traces in the column. Manual Range (Auto disabled) applies its range to all traces in the column. When linked scales is disabled, the column reverts back to the range settings that were there initially. Revised December 6, 2018 Revision 14 of DOCU311 Page 18 of 42
4.2.3 Fat Traces For applicable traces, slide the toggle to turn fat traces on. Instead of displaying only the maximum value for each trace point, a fat trace displays both the maximum and minimum values recorded each ten-second interval. Fat traces can also display a range of limit and alert traces. When turned on, a transparent overlay appears to show you the range of these parameters. Revised December 6, 2018 Revision 14 of DOCU311 Page 19 of 42
4.2.4 Ruler For applicable traces, toggle the ruler on. To aid with visual comparison, the trace now appears as a ruler with standard depth-tick logic. Revised December 6, 2018 Revision 14 of DOCU311 Page 20 of 42

A view is a configuration of Pason Live trace graphs set up so you can focus quickly on particular data sets. You can modify the default view or set up and save your own custom views. Move between views using the drop-down menu at the top right. To sort your views, simply start typing the name of the view you are looking for. Changes you make, such as traces and colours, are saved automatically to the view you re working in. Your views are associated with your DataHub profile when you open Pason Live, even for other wells and rigs, you ll have access to your saved views. 4.4 Preconfigured Views Pason Live offers preconfigured views on the drop-down view menu. They are as follows: Drilling features typical traces users watch while drilling Geology has some drilling traces, but mixes in traces geologists may be concerned with, such as mud or formation cues. Revised December 6, 2018 Revision 14 of DOCU311 Page 23 of 42
ExxonMobil DAS is used when ExxonMobil DAS is running on the rig. This view provides information on how DAS is performing relative to the technical limits and optimizing range for weight-on-bit (WOB). The ExxonMobil DAS view also includes information specific to performance, namely DAS MSE, DAS Stick Slip, as well as the Advisor In Control flag to determine when optimization has been enabled. Smart Alarms uses machine learning to detect mud gains and/or losses. Smart Alarms learn from drilling activities to create alert set points for flow and volume that are continuously adapting. With this view enabled, the user sees current and historical parameters. Note: When in the Smart Alarm view, fat traces highlight high and low alerts or limit traces. 4.5 Create or Edit Views To create or edit your views, select Setup to open a menu with the following options: Create New creates a copy of the selected view that you can use as a starting point to modify. Rename lets you change the name an existing view. Restore Default returns the default view, Drilling, to factory settings. Delete removes the selected view from the list. Revised December 6, 2018 Revision 14 of DOCU311 Page 24 of 42
5 Exporting Files With Pason Live, you can export your current view as a.csv file or a.las file. Select Export to open a window where you can customize included traces, then select Download. 5.1 Time Export For time view, you'll see a.csv or.las file with blended 1s and 10s data. The two values will be shown side-by-side in the file and any missing data is filled with empty fields when data of different time resolutions are blended. The From and To fields show a time range, for example, From: Feb 12, :55:20 To: Feb 15, :45:00. Revised December 6, 2018 Revision 14 of DOCU311 Page 25 of 42
5.2 Depth Export For depth view, you'll see a.csv or.las file showing data points per depth increment instead of time increment. The From and To fields show the depth range, for example From: 2000 m (ft. in US) To: 1000 m. The downloaded file shows a depth resolution of 0.2 m for metric wells and 1 ft for imperial wells. Click the link to the DataHub export page for advanced export options (available in both depth and time). Revised December 6, 2018 Revision 14 of DOCU311 Page 26 of 42
6 Setting Up Gas Lag You can set up a gas lag trace to represent the depth that the mud currently in the shaker came from, and therefore the depth at which gas shown in a gas trace entered the well. You can choose from five lag calculation methods: Time: is the time required to bring mud from the corresponding depth to the surface. This method requires that pump rates are constant. Stroke: is the number of pump stokes needed to bring mud from the corresponding depth to the surface. Volume: is the cumulative pump displacement. This method takes pump sizes and efficiencies into account and is the most robust method of gas lagging (provided the pump calibrations are accurate). EZETime: operates on the same principles as time lag. It is another method of entering the actual gas lag time for a specific depth if you know the bottoms up time from the mud report. Annular Velocity: uses the annular velocity value to calculate the lag time. To set up or modify a gas lag trace, you'll need lag editing permissions enabled on the Pason DataHub. Your DataHub administrator can enable these permissions. To set up or modify a gas lag trace, follow these steps: 1. From the menu bar on the left, select Lag Setup. Revised December 6, 2018 Revision 14 of DOCU311 Page 27 of 42
2. Select your method and parameters. 3. Select OK. A dialog box shows you when the gas lag has been successfully updated. Note: When you edit gas lag settings, any changes you make are applied at the wellsite. Changes made on the EDR are transmitted to Pason Live. 6.1 Reset Lag 6.2 Ruler To reset lag, from the menu bar on the left, select Lag Setup, then select Reset Lag. Resetting lag zeros gas lag data, and gas lag data will be invalid until bottoms up is circulated. To aid with visual comparison, you may want to view a depth trace as a ruler with standard depth-tick logic. To use this feature, select a trace box and toggle the ruler on. Revised December 6, 2018 Revision 14 of DOCU311 Page 28 of 42
Note: You can turn on a maximum of one ruler per column. Revised December 6, 2018 Revision 14 of DOCU311 Page 29 of 42
7 Using Memos To see memos created at the wellsite, on right sidebar, select < to expand the Memos panel. If there are too many memos to display fully, a number in a grey circle indicates the number of memos in the same section of the graph. For one memo, click on the grey circle to expand it, or for multiple memos, click on the number to expand the memos. Click on the x to collapse the memos again. If a memo is too large to display fully in your current view, the text ends with more... Select more... to expand the memo, then x to close it again. Revised December 6, 2018 Revision 14 of DOCU311 Page 30 of 42
Note: The time displayed for memos is the time at the wellsite (rig time), which may be different than your local time. In the Memos reading bar options, turn Open with Reading Bar to On to have memos automatically open when the reading bar is dragged across them. To post Memos to the well, select Send Memo and enter your memo text. Click Send to post the memo. Note: All sent memos enter a pending state before being received by the rig. Revised December 6, 2018 Revision 14 of DOCU311 Page 31 of 42
Memo Searching The search memo feature, located at the top of the filter panel, gives you the ability to search all memos by keyword, or sort them old to new (time) or least to greatest (depth). Additionally, you can quickly jump to a specific memo, and it's location in the well, by clicking Jump To. Memo Filtering Memo filters allow you to view only the memos you want to see. Choose from a list of default words, or create custom words of your own. Click Set Filters to open the Set Memo Filters menu. Revised December 6, 2018 Revision 14 of DOCU311 Page 32 of 42
From the Set Memo Filters menu, turn on memo filters by sliding the toggle to On. To set filters, select from a list of default words (click the box) to show only memos that contain those words. Click Create New to create custom memo filters, or click a filter word and select Edit to edit an existing memo filter. Click Delete to remove memo filters. Note: When memo filters is On, Filtered shows at the bottom of the Memos column. Revised December 6, 2018 Revision 14 of DOCU311 Page 33 of 42

9 Using Rig State Traces The EDR includes two traces you can use to determine the rig's state, what it was doing at a particular time or depth: Rig Super State and Rig Sub State. The super state describes activity at a high level, while the sub state provides more detail. These traces are available on the EDR and on the Pason DataHub, and can be exported in one-second resolution. We re always working to refine our rig state algorithms. Your feedback is essential if you have comments on this feature, please contact your Pason representative or Technical Support. The rig state traces display numbers that corresponds to a specific rig activity. Use the tables below to interpret what the displayed numbers mean. 9.1 How to Interpret the Rig States On the EDR, note the numbers displayed for both the Rig Super State and the Rig Sub State. The table below shows you the sub states we can identify under the different super states. Sub State Number Displayed Sub State Super State Number Displayed 0 Unknown 1 Drilling 2 Tripping Out 3 Tripping In 4 Trip Gap 5 Out of Hole 6 Prespud 9 Tripping 8 Insufficient data 7 Reaming 6 Washing 5 Circulating 4 Static 3 Connection 2 Sliding Revised December 6, 2018 Revision 14 of DOCU311 Page 39 of 42

10 About Your Data The trace boxes in Pason Live show 1 Hz data (one-second updates). The traces show 1 Hz data for more than 60 traces, and 0.1 Hz data for the rest. For historical data, Pason Live uses 1 Hz data for the more than 60 traces it's available for, and 0.1 Hz data for the other traces. Note: If there is a problem with Internet connectivity on the rig, your trace boxes will show - -. You can still view and interact with data that has already been received, but you won t get any new data until the connection is re-established Depth Data Next to the trace graphs, you ll find information about depth and drilling activity. Use the legend below to interpret the data. Additionally, you can view the well profile in depth versus time. To do this, select Depth in the Mode option located in the toolbar.
