1 This document summarizes the following information for the Government of Ontario: How to take meter/usage counts How and when to submit the meter/usage counts How and where to submit supply requests How and where to submit service requests How to take meter/usage counts Use CTRL + F to search for the instructions for your specific device Xerox Phaser 6180MFPD (MONO and COLOUR) 1. Press the SYSTEM button. 2. Scroll up/down to BILLING METER and hit OK 3. Scroll up/down to TOTAL IMPRESSIONS and record 4. Press CANCEL button to exit Xerox WorkCentre 6400XM (MONO and COLOUR) 1. Press MACHINE STATUS button 2. Select the BILLING INFORMATION tab and then USAGE COUNTERS The usage counters list is displayed at the left of the control Xerox WorkCentre 5755 (MONO) Xerox WorkCentre 5775 (MONO) Xerox WorkCentre 7755P (MONO and COLOUR) Xerox WorkCentre 7765P (MONO and COLOUR) 1. Press MACHINE STATUS button 2. Select the BILLING INFORMATION tab 3. Select USAGE COUNTERS, and then scroll to the desired counter. 4. 2 Xerox Phaser 8560MFPD (MONO and COLOUR) 1. Press the SYSTEM button. 2. Press OK on the control panel to get to the INFORMATION SCREEN 3. Press the DOWN arrow button on the Control Panel until BILLING METERS is selected, and then press the OK button. Xerox Phaser 3635MFPx (MONO) Xerox WorkCentre 4250XM (MONO) Xerox WorkCentre 5665CPTH (MONO) Xerox WorkCentre 5675CPTH (MONO) 1. Press MACHINE STATUS button 2. If necessary, select the MACHINE INFORMATION tab 3. Select USAGE COUNTERS, and then scroll to the desired counter. Xerox Phaser 3600DN (MONO) 1. Press the MENU button on the Control Panel until INFORMATION is displayed, and then press the OK button. 2. Scroll up/down until CONFIGURATION is displayed, and then press OK button. "Print? Yes" will be displayed. 3. Press OK to print the Configuration Page 4. Press CANCEL to return to the Main screen. Xerox Phaser 4510DT (MONO) 1. Scroll up/down until INFORMATION is selected on the Display Screen, and then press OK 2. Scroll up/down until INFORMATION PAGES is selected, and then press OK 3. Scroll up/down until USAGE PROFILE is selected, and then press OK. The selected page will print. 4. Press BACK to return to the Main screen. How To Instructions for the Government of Ontario Page 2

Scroll up/down to BILLING METER and hit OK 3. Press EXIT/RETURN to return to the Main screen. How To Instructions for the Government of Ontario Page 3
4 How and when to submit the meter/usage counts On the 15th calendar day of each month you will receive an requesting that you submit meter read(s) from the device(s) that are currently covered under your CPP agreement. The e- mail will direct you to the Compugen emerge website Please note that if meter read(s) are not received by the 20 th of the month, a reminder will be sent to you. This will be sent on the 21 st calendar day of the month. If you have submitted your counts you will not receive this second . Follow the steps provided below to login and enter your meter/usage counts: 1. In the Company ID field, input the value : MGSPIT 2. In the User Name field, input the value provided to you by your Compugen representative. 3. In the Password field, input the current password for your account. If this is the first time the user is logging into the site, then the password will have been provided to the user by your Compugen representative. 4. Click on the login button to enter the site. 5. You will then be presented with the Welcome screen. How To Instructions for the Government of Ontario Page 4
5 6. Click on the Enter Page Count Meter Readings button. The browser will navigate to a page showing the user the printers that are listed under their responsibility. 7. To the right of the device information will be input fields where the user may enter in the present meter readings for the device. There may be one or multiple meter input areas, depending on how many meters the device contains (i.e. one for Color printing, one for Mono (Black) printing). 8. Enter in the reads and click on the Update button. You will be presented with the message Meter Readings successfully submitted Should there be a problem accessing the above link, please forward your meter read information to: pitsmeterreads@compugen.com Please ensure you include the following information in the Serial Number of the device or the Asset Tag # Page Counts (Black & White & Color) How To Instructions for the Government of Ontario Page 5
6 How and where to submit Supply requests There are 3 readily available options available to you when it comes to placing a supply request: 1. Online via emerge ing us directly at pitsmeterreads@compugen.com 3. Calling us and speaking with one of our knowledgeable Service Advisors When supplies are required please ensure you have the following information ready: Serial Number of the device or the Asset Tag # Make & Model Location If you choose to order online via emerge please follow the steps below: 1. To request supplies for printers under contract, click on the Request Supplies link in the top right corner of the screen. How To Instructions for the Government of Ontario Page 6
7 2. Place a check mark against the printers that you wish to request supplies for. 3. Place a check mark against the type of supplies that you are requesting. 4. If the supplies requested are not classified as toner or staples, fill in the description of the supplies in the text box next to the Other check box selection. 5. Enter in any additional comments you may like to communicate in the comments field. Click on the Submit link. 6. You will be presented with a message Your request has been submitted It is good practice to have one spare toner on hand. No more than 2 toners will be shipped at a time ***Please do not wait until the last minute to order your supplies. When your device indicates supplies are low, please place your order.
