1 How to Access the Water Use Reporting system Step 1 Using the Google Internet Browser, in the address bar type: water/reports-data/water-use-reporting-system/water-use-reporting-system-disclaimer.aspx Scroll through the disclaimer, read it and then click on the button at the bottom of the screen that states I accept these conditions and wish to submit data Type Click this button

2 Step 2 Sign in using your User ID and Password, type your User ID and Password for the Alberta Secure Access Service and click the Login button Type User ID Type Your Password NOTE: Your User ID and password are case sensitive Click Login Step 3 You have now entered Alberta Environment s Water Use Reporting system Click on the Licence List to see you re Licences This is the Main Menu for the Water Use Reporting system Click on Licence List to see you re Licences

3 Step 4 This screen displays you re Licence List, choose the Licensee (indicated in blue) for the appropriate licence that you wish to report. More than one may appear if you have multiple licences. Licensee name Note: Licensee name(s) on your screen will appear in blue, choose Licensee for the appropriate licence that you wish to report. Note: If you have more than one licence requiring reporting, each licence will be listed here individually Note: Licence Number and File number will appear in black Receive click on drop down arrow to choose yes or no to receiving s from the WUR system Step 5 This screen displays your Licences which requires reporting, click on the Legal Land Location (appears in blue) to add submission or change submission of water use reporting data. Click here to go to next screen, will appear in blue Legal Land Location Indicates S Surface Water or G Groundwater source THE ABOVE INFORMATION DESCRIBES THE FIELDS ON SCREEN

4 Step 6 To enter water usage data, click on Add Submission May need to be changed to reflect actual drilled date Click on here to Add data Click a blue Update to update any of the information on water level, usage or specialized analysis (water quality) data as required by the monitoring and reporting conditions of your Licence. Step 7 To input water usage data, click on blue date under the Period column Click here to go to next screen and input water usage data Due date for submission of WUR data Indicates frequency WUR reporting is required

5 Step 8 A list of reporting period(s) is indicated here. Choose the correct volume unit and indicate what method is used to derive water usage (metered or calculated) from the two dropdown lists. Click on drop down box to choose correct unit for water measurement Click on drop down box to choose metered or calculated Step 9 Enter the usage values for each month, then click on the Submit button at the bottom of the screen to record your entries. Check the area above here, messages indicating the acceptance of your entries or error messages indicating more information is required are displayed here in yellow. Click here to input your usage values for each month Click here to submit your data

6 Step 10 To review information entered into WUR, return to the Main Menu and press on the Change Submission button. DO NOT use these button, it will exit you from the WUR system This is the Main Menu for the Water Use Reporting system Click here to move between the screens Click here Change Submission to review your submissions Step 11 Click on the View button to see your water usage entries. Click here review your water usage entries

7 Step 12 This summarizes the water usage entries made. Use the Scroll bar on the right-hand side to scroll through entries. Make changes as necessary and add comments on the Comments column. Scroll bar

8 Appendix Registration for Alberta Secure Access Service You must register to use the Alberta Secure Access Service to have access to the Water Use Reporting system, this is done ONE TIME ONLY. Use the 30 day temporary password provided by the Water Use Coordinator to set up your Alberta Secure Access Service, using the Google internet browser, in the address box type Alberta Secure Access Service,. It should appear as the first choice, click on it. Read the disclaimer and click on I Agree at the bottom of the page. Continue to complete the Self Registration. Call the Water Use Coordinator at if your need assistance. Click here to Register
