1 Comcast Communicator Download, Login and Set Up Guide Download Desktop Client Installation on a PC/Windows Desktop Minimum Requirements - Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1, or Windows 10 (Classical view only) 1. The Windows Desktop client is here 2. Open Downloads folder and double click on Comcast_Communicator.bc-uc.win exe ; accept Windows program installation warning dialog. 3. Follow the steps in the Comcast Communicator Setup Wizard. Installation on a Mac Desktop Minimum Requirements - Mac OS 10.9 Mavericks, Mac OS Yosemite, MAC OS El Capitan 1. The Mac Desktop client is here 2. Open Downloads folder and double click on the Comcast_Communicator.bc-uc.osx dmg file. 3. Once the Finder installation window appears, drag the Comcast Communicator icon into the Applications folder. Login and Set Up for Desktop Client 1. Provide the same Username and Password you use to login into the VoiceEdge Feature Portal or Telephony Toolbar. (If you need help with your VoiceEdge Feature Portal Username and Password, contact your local Tech Admin) 2. If you have enabled automatic login (Sign-in automatically), after the client starts, you automatically go to your Contact List. If you have not enabled automatic login, click OK in the Sign-in window. The previously-used user name is automatically remembered. The password can be automatically remembered as well. Download Mobile Application Download Application to an Android Phone Minimum Requirements - OS 4 1. The Mobile Application for Android is here 2. Click on Become a Tester 3. Click on Download the B4B Comcast Communicator app on Google Play 4. Accept the Terms and Conditions Login and Set Up for Android 1. Provide the same Username and Password you use to login into the VoiceEdge Feature Portal or Telephony Toolbar (If you need help with your VoiceEdge Feature Portal Username and Password, contact your local Tech Admin) 2. After logging into the Comcast Communicator, go to the Call Settings area (press on the flag located in the upper left hand corner of the screen).

2 3. Go to Call Settings 4. Select Mobility. 5. Turn on the Mobility feature, put in your mobile number in the Mobile Number field and set the Phones to Ring to Fixed. Download Application to an iphone Minimum Requirements - ios 8 or ios 9 running on iphone 4S or later 1. You will be sent an about downloading Test Flight and the Mobile Application. Access that with your mobile and select Start Testing 2. The Apple App store will open to the Test Flight page 3. Download the Test Flight application 4. Open the Test Flight application 5. Select Install next to B4B Comcast Communicator 6. Open up B4B Desktop Icon 7. Accept Terms and Conditions

Provide the same Username and Password you use to login into the VoiceEdge Feature Portal or Telephony Toolbar (If you need help with your VoiceEdge Feature Portal Username and Password, contact your local Tech Admin) 2. After logging into the Comcast Communicator, go to the Call Settings area (press on the flag located in the upper left hand corner of the screen or swipe right on the screen. 3. Go to Call Settings 4. Enter your mobile phone number in the iphone Number field. 5. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and select Mobility. 6.

4 7. Make Mobility Active, put in your mobile number in the Mobile Number field, set Phones to Ring to Fixed, and select Save. 8. Go back to Call Settings and set Dialing Service to Call Through. More information about the Comcast Communicator is available here.
