2 UPDATE PROCESS OVERVIEW 1 USER REGISTRATION 1. User logon to (enter Malaysia-English) 2. User create new account with unique Username + Password. 2 NEW AUTHENTICATE Register the software for the first time under the new account. 3 VERSION UPDATE_WEB Get new Serial key and Authentication key for new update. Note: Authentication key = License Key 4 Download new UPDATE Download new update from the website. 5 Copy new update into SD card and register. Replace SD card file and register in vehicle

5 1.USER REGISTRATION 3. Fill in user information. Then click Next Step. NOTE! Please write down the Username and Password in the user manual for f uture reference.

6 1.USER REGISTRATION 4. Fill in more user information. Then click Next Step.

8 2. NEW AUTHENTICATION 6. Click MY SPEEDNAVI.

10 2. NEW AUTHENTICATION 8. Fill in existing S/W & H/W keys. Confirmation screen will appear after click CONFIRM. 1. Type in the S/W key 2. Type in the H/W key 3. Then Press Confirm Note! S/W and H/W key found in user manual OR Speednavi Main Menu>System>About

11 2. NEW AUTHENTICATION 9. Registered keys are displayed. Click on FREE button to get new w keys. Then Click OK on confirmation screen.

13 4. Downloading New Update 11. Click on Update to download new patch file. Go to Update Update News

14 4. Downloading New Update 12. Click on Nissan Sylphy message. Click on related update for Nissan Sylphy

15 4. Downloading New Update 13. Click on DOWNLOAD: TCAT Multimedia Navigator download link.

16 4. Downloading New Update You will see a pop up window. Click SAVE to a location on the desktop. This download will take approximately 60 minutes depending on your internet speed. You will see a Zip file after completion of download. Use any Unzipping software(winzip, Zipsentral) to unzip the downloaded file into a new Speednavi Folder.(save in Desktop also) (Note: please select Automatically create folders

17 5. Replace SD card file and register in vehicle Remove SD card from TCAT Multimedia Navigator and insert to any Virus free Computer. Delete the Speednavi folder, idsw.ini & id HW.ini from SD Card. ( Total 3 files)

18 5. Replace SD card file and register in vehicle Copy newly downloaded and unzipped Speednavi folder(from desktop) into t he SD card. Insert the SD card into the Navigation system and start Navi. You will see t he license registration page.

19 5. Replace SD card file and register in vehicle Touch the empty box f or keyboard to ap pear! 1. H/W KEY will be displayed automatically 2. Type in new S/W Key 3. Type in new License/Authentication Key Note! Make sure SD card is NOT LOCK ED! 4. Click Register to UPDATE 5. Done

20 Troubleshooting/FAQ Guide Symptoms/ Questions 1. System says I have keyed in Wrong serial/license key. 2. Registration page does not appear. No reaction when I press the Navi button on the main menu. 3. I lost my user manual, or do not have the original H/W, S/W or Authentication Key. 4. I lost/forgot my Speednavi account username or password. 5. How do I confirm that the database has been up dated? 6. Can I transfer my saved POI to the new update? Solution 1. Re-format SD card and copy new Speednavi fold er into SD card and register again. 2. Ensure zip file is fully downloaded, properly unzip ped and properly copied into SD card. 3. If you can still use the Speednavi, go to System About> Down Arrow You can find the H/W and S/W key there. If you cannot use the Speednavi, please enquiry@tcat.com.my for assistance. 4. Click on Find ID and Password. New password will be sent to your earlier submitted Go to Speednavi > System > About > Map Versio n. The date will be a newer date. 6. Unfortunately, you cannot transfer to previously s aved POI to the new update. However, you can w rite down the important POI s coordinates and r e-enter it in the new update.
