5 1 Hardware Requirements Guide The requirements listed in this dcument apply t sftware in general and are independent f any underlying database, Micrsft SQL Server r SAP HANA. Nte that the minimum hardware requirements utlined here are just recmmendatins t supprt peratinal prcesses at the lwest level. Fr smth peratins, any given installatin shuld ideally have a cnfiguratin that is at market standards. 1.1 Disclaimer In general, nly the English platfrm versins are supprted. 10 2.4 Hardware Requirements fr Hsted Envirnments RAM Requirements Citrix XenApp Editin r Windws Terminal Services hardware requirements, as stipulated by the manufacturer. Recmmendatin Fr WAN cnnectins, use the Remte Desktp Prtcl (RDP). Per cncurrent user: applicatin 1 GB Citrix r WTS Client Sessins Fr recmmended requirements, refer t Citrix r WTS dcumentatin. Fr ther applicatins like partner add-ns r clients, cntact yur slutin prvider fr recmmended requirements. 11 2.4.2 Prcessr and Netwrk Bandwidth Prcessrs: Each physical CPU cre can supprt 5~8 cncurrent users, which depends n actual CPU perfrmance. In a virtualized envirnment, each vcpu can supprt less than five cncurrent users. Cntact yur slutin prvider fr cnfiguratin details. If, fr example, ther applicatins with a high transactin vlume r lng reprts are executed, cntact yur slutin prvider fr recmmended requirements. Additinal CPUs are required fr third-party add-ns, frmat search and ther extensins which cnsume CPU resurces. Fr partner- r prject-specific custmizatin and extensins, the CPU cnsumptin needs t be figured ut thrugh partner testing. Fr CPU vercmmitted clud envirnments, run benchmark tls t determine the true CPU perfrmance. Netwrk bandwidth fr : Each cncurrent user wh is accessing Citrix r WTS sessins via WAN requires 0.5 Mbps (512 Kbps) external bandwidth. Example: Fr 32 cncurrent users, an external bandwidth f 16 Mbps is required. Netwrk latency, screen reslutin and ther factrs might impact Citrix r WTS sessins. Putting client and server int tw different lcatins (e.g. VPN) will have an impact n the perfrmance f. Thus, latency shuld be as lw as pssible (< 1 ms).
