1 TRAUMACAD 2.5 PREREQUISITES Befre beginning the TraumaCad Server sftware installatin, please verify all prerequisite are installed and minimum hardware and sftware requirements are met, as described belw. SERVER HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS One r mre prcessrs with a recmmended minimum speed 2.4 GHz and 8M Cache 4 GB RAM Hard Drive (we recmmend 2 virtual drives t separate OS and applicatin files): Up t 50 GB fr Operating system, TraumaCad sftware and lgs Up t 10 GB fr digital templates Internet cnnectin details are specified belw (Table 1) and are recmmended fr the installatin, user s dcumentatin dwnlad and nging server updates TraumaCad Server installatin is supprted inside a virtualized envirnment as lng as the Virtual machine meets the abve requirements SERVER SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS Micrsft Windws Server 2012(R2) / 2016 (R2) English shuld be the default OS language; additinal languages can c exist Server naming cnventin: server NAME must NOT cntain an _ (underscre) symbl ( MS Internet Infrmatin Services (IIS) Micrsft ASP.NET Micrsft.NET Framewrk V3.5 SP1 Internet Explrer as default web brwser versin 10 (Enterprise mde) and abve.* MS windws update (all patches & ht fixes available at Micrsft windws update) PDF Reader (ptinal) RDP / LgMeIn / Custmer prvided VPN recmmended fr installatin and nging supprt Operating system installatin disk (surce lcatin f the files needed t install Windws features) Make sure IT pens FULL access t in the Firewall (fr client nline signature) T install TraumaCad, yu must be lgged n as a user with administrative privileges. 3 SERVER OPERATING SYSTEM CONFIGURATION Befre installing TraumaCad server Make sure.net 3.5 SP1 and IIS are installed using the belw steps:.net 3.5 SP1 INSTALLATION Launch the Server Manager Scrll dwn t ROLES AND FEATURES and pen the TASKS drpdwn menu select Add Rles and Features In the Befre yu Begin step, click Next In the Installatin Type step, verify the Rle based r feature based installatin radi buttn is selected, and click Next in the Server Selectin step, verify the Select a server frm the server pl radi buttn is selected and the apprpriate server name is selected in the Server Pl, and click Next In the Server Rles step, click Next 3 SP2U00034 _A_ TraumaCad_2.5 _Prerequisites

7 Clse all windws n the server and cntinue t cnfigure IIS t supprt TraumaCad server installatin Adjusting File Size Limit in IIS 8 The prblem is that in IIS 8 n Windws 2012 Server, the web applicatin will reject any file that is larger than 30 MB and since TraumaCad can handle CR \ DX images that can vary between 5MB 75MB we need t increase the file size limitatin. T increase file size limit t 100MB pen cmmand line cnsle and run: %windir%\system32\inetsrv\appcmd.exe set cnfig "Default Web Site" sectin:system.webserver/security/requestfiltering /requestlimits.maxallwedcntentlength:" " /cmmit:apphst Where TraumaCadServer is a web site created fr TraumaCad. Yu can use Default Web Site if TraumaCad was installed n the default web site. Change Applicatin pl pipeline mde By default each applicatin pl pipline mde in IIS is set t Integrated. In TraumaCad this shuld be cnverted t Classic fr the applicatin t run On the taskbar, click Start, pint t Administrative Tls, and then click Internet Infrmatin Services (IIS) Manager. In the Cnnectins pane, expand Sites, and then navigate t the applicatin yu want t edit In the Actins pane, click Advanced Settings...
