1 June 04, 2018 Performance!Nxt Release Flowserve is pleased to announce the latest release of Performance!Nxt (P!Nxt), the industry's foremost Control Valve Sizing, Selection and Project Management Software. Following are details about new products, features, enhancements implemented and issues resolved in this release. New Product: FlowTop (V746 and V748; ASIA ONLY AT THIS TIME: Middle East, India, Southeast Asia, China, South Korea) The FlowTop (type V746 and V748) control valve is a fully integrated valve-actuatorinstrumentation package for continuous process flow loop control throughout the plant. Designed from the ground up, the FlowTop has achieved optimum performance at minimum total cost. It does this by pursuing the simple design philosophy of building an instrumented control valve package providing the breadth and depth of engineered control within the Valtek trusted name. Based upon technology and experience, the FlowTop integrated control valve packaging consists of the FlowTop globe body assembly, the FlowAct pneumatic diaphragm actuator, and the Logix digital positioners (with automatic calibration). The FlowTop package includes post and cage guiding. Its clamped seat ring ensures tight shut-off and easy maintenance (the seat ring is not threaded). Overall, its integrated design makes it a low total cost value to buy, install, operate, and maintain. Yet, it delivers best-in-class performance with: Excellent rangeability, repeatability, and fine control; offers high flow rates Direct mounted digital positioner without tubing (air-to-open) Trim and material options handling virtually all general service requirements Quick installation and simple setup by maintenance technicians without the need for instrument or process engineering skills Anti-noise and anti-cavitation trim options

2 The FlowTop integrated control valve package provides process plant operators that perfect balance of performance versus cost without compromise to product quality or integrity. Maximum Capacity Flow Rates The FlowTop handles a wide selection of process control applications for high-flow, general service applications in the oil and gas, chemical, power and general service industries. Clamped Seat Ring The seat ring is simply clamped into place by the bonnet and seat retainer. By removing the body bolting and the bonnet, both the seat retainer and seat ring can be quickly and easily lifted out of the body, even if the application is dirty and/or corrosive. Packing Box Permits a wide variety of packing materials and configurations. The packing set is positioned away from the flow in the body to avoid damage from the flowing medium. Post and Cage Guiding Ensures accurate plug and seat ring alignment. Large guiding surfaces provide superior guiding over broad temperature ranges. Contoured Plug Design Modified equal percentage characteristic comes standard; linear and quick open trims are optional. Severe Service Trim MegaStream s heavy-duty, drilled-hole cage offers an effective solution to control valve noise. CavStream trim contains the cavitating bubbles away from metal surfaces of the valve a simple but effective method of controlling cavitation.

5 Summary of resolutions covered under 7220 release Related to Linear Product line Performance! Release 27250: New Product FlowTop (V746/V748) is now available for sizing & selection under BGL site (Bangalore, India) in P!Nxt. See release notes above : Body material rules for Villach site, while using Mark One with standard applications, have been updated : To match the technical bulletin data, the trim sizes will be displayed in metric unit [mm] with this release for FlowTop, FlowPro, Valtek GS and Valtek CS : Trim material rules tied with specific body materials for Mark 100 have been updated : A correction has been made in stem size selection to match ESP L & 26641: Body material options have been modified to exclude casting options based on selection of fabricated body form with Mark One (i.e. Mark Two) : Modified a rule for PSA application. Now lower guide would set as Alloy 6 if maximum pressure drop exceeds 400 psi : Added pressure-temperature curves with cryogenic bonnet extensions for packing materials with BAM and O2 suffix : Plug facing rule for Valtek GS has been modified based on trim size range : A specific case of Multi-Z sizing with custom valve size has been corrected : Default valve size for Multi-Z has been updated to 1 instead of : Additional strokes for specific sizes have been added under Valtek Lin-Act Sub 23399: Updated rules to block unavailable spud sizes for VL-ES actuator : The logic to fetch Kr factor for FlowAct actuator sizing has been improvised : With this release FlowTop valves will print Valve# like V726, V738, V740 etc. on data sheet based valve number and pressure rating selected on sizing screen.

6 27798: Documentation selections have been added for TotalFlow , ColdFlow and ColdFlow valves : Corrected stem size value being displayed when custom Mark One is specified. Related to Rotary Product line 27298: In continuation to last release, an informative section about MAST (Max. allowable stem torque) value has been added for more Valtek rotary valves to help users make better selection : Max. Allowable Air Supply field has been added for specific rotary actuators. This will be used for MAST calculations mentioned above : End post material rule has been modified for MaxFlo4 to match shaft material selection : The printing of Valve Type details on data sheet was added for Valtek Rotary Actuator Sub : The printing of spring size for a specific case of NR actuator with MaxFlo4 was corrected. Related to Accessories 23918: New Product Aviator II switch is now available for selection in P!Nxt See release notes above : A logic was added to limit the maximum discount on Logix 3800 positioner with Aluminum-IS housing : A correction was made to avoid unwanted warning popup when user selects Positioner Only product : A specific correction was made to enable users enter custom Solenoid text with German language settings : Solenoid section under specification screen has been blocked as per request for Kammer KE actuator.

7 22602: The printing of Positioner model details on data sheet, when Other is used, has been corrected. Related to P!Nxt Application features 11160: P&ID figures have been enabled for Mark One that will generate preliminary drawings based on D-Dimensions used universally in market. This will help users during initial stages of quotation. Current release can generate drawing for size range 0.5 to : Further adding to above project, the 'Report builder' feature can be used to generate custom reports with D-Dimensions (i.e. D1 D30 as applicable) 27390: A logic has been added to commission calculation to provide flexibility as per new guidelines for international representatives : Parts list creation logic has been enhanced to incorporate diverse dependencies for generation of complete reports : The printing of critical pressure value in detail information section, specific to a unit system, has been corrected : The Copy Project Data feature under Tools menu has been enhanced to enable users copy even records along with project data : Under this a specific case of file importing has been corrected : The display of noise detail screen for Megastream G3 with specific resolution settings has been corrected : The logic to display noise detail screen for Megastream G3 was updated : A specific correction was made to enable users enter custom valve size with German language settings : A specific correction was made while changing valve model from Mark One to FlowTop from sizing screen : Under this a specific case of sizing FlowAct with Mark One has been corrected : The feature to print rated Cv-values in 10% steps, implemented in last release, can now be accessed directly from Valve Manager as well.
