1 Parc, 84 Avenue Franklin Roosevelt Vaulx-en-Velin Tèl : Fax : info@drim.fr - Web : drim.fr USER SPECIFICATIONS FOR A VANDAL-RESISTANT KEYBOARD with a deported electronic unit CLAV400 (8 relays 12 volts) This waterproof and vandal-resistant digital lock is manufactured with an inox keyboard and a CTL26 deported unit connected to the keyboard by a 6 meters cable. The electronic unit allows an optimal security to the CLAV400, because if the cable is destroyed, no access is possible. This keyboard is used in lifts, parking and so on. In addition, a clock input, allows if necessary, to accept the access only on definited hours. Our CLAV400 is processed according to CE normalisation. Clock input to accept access only at exact definited hours Operating temperature : - 25 C to 70 C Protection : Vandal-resistant screws with an unseat key included Keyboard sécurity : An access code ( 4 or 5 digits) must be introduced in less than 10 seconds. The master code must be introduced in 25 seconds maximum. If you have passed these times, you will hear the 4 BIP explaining that your code is wrong. Then, it's necessary that you introduce again the code. If you have introduced five false codes, the keyboard will be off during 10 seconds. Our CLAV400 has passed, with success, the electromagnetics compatibility tests. This device is manufactured according to the CENELEC directives and generic standards: NF EN & (immunity tests) NF EN & (emission tests).

2 The keyboard is factory programmed as follow : Factory code Master factory code : Relay number 1 delay : 3 seconds Relay number 2 delay : 3 seconds Relay number 3 delay : 3 seconds Relais number 4 to 16 delay : the same as relay1 Number of digits by code : 5 Explanation of BIP heared 1BIP : Programming mode status 2 BIP : Programming validation 4 BIP : Programming error or false code WARNING : For a correct keyboard programming, it's necessary to enter all differents codes by following methodically points 1 to 6 in serial order. On first programming or if you have lost your master code, you must connect electrically the two factory terminal blocks pins (US). 1 MASTER CODE PROGRAMMING KEYBOARD PROGRAMMING The master code allows to be in programming mode. You must check that the 2 factory connector pins (US) are connected. Then you maintain pushed the «A» key more than 4 seconds. 2 BIP hear indicate that you are in programming mode. Then, you introduce on the keyboard the factory code You will hear 1 BIP. Then you will take off the connection between the two factory connector pins (US). This allow to leave the factory mode. Warning : If you maintain the 2 factory connector pins, your keyboard will keep factory parameters with: factory master code, 5 numbers access codes and a 3 seconds delay. Enter the 48 adress number and then you will enter your new user master code (8 digits). The master code can't be used as your master code, it only allows to erase the former code. To register your code : Push shortly on «A» key. You will hear 2 BIP confirming your good programming. 2 DELAY PROGRAMMING You enter the number 50 as adress for the n 1 relay delay. You will hear 1 BIP. Then enter one number choised among 01 and 99, according to the seconds delay. If you choose 00 you will be in a two steady mode (ON/OFF). The relais number 4 to 16 has the same delay as the number 1 relay. To register your delay : Push shortly the «A» key. You will hear 2 BIP confirming your good programming. You can do the same for the number 2 and 3 relais with:. 51 number adress for the n 2 relay delay. 52 number adress for the n 3 relay delay. 3 Programming of the codes digits number: Each entering code is made by 4 or 5 digits. Enter the number 49 as adress. You will hear 1 BIP. Enter the number 4 if you retain a 4 digits code or the number 5 if you retain a 5 digits code. Then you shortly push the «A» key. You will hear 2 BIP confirming your good programming. 4 Programming your access codes You enter an adress number between 00 and 47 (see the table below), you will hear 1 BIP, then you will enter your 4 or 5 access code digits. The «P» symbol indicate that this code is a permanent code, while the «H» symbol indicates that the access code is acting only if your clock entry is active. To register your access code : Push shortly «A»

3 key. You will hear 2 BIP confirming your good programming. Then you will pursue this step procedure to enter your others access codes. PS : The 0000(0) access code is forbidden, allowing only to erase an existing access code. You can't start an access code with «A». Example: Access code /P/ 00: : R01 00 is the code adress and R01 is the activated relay number. 5 Clock parameters If you have to connect a clock, connect it between the GD and HR pins. Then, for each relay you can use the two first permanent codes for which the clock is not active and the third code for which the clock is active. You will find, joined here, on the last page, a board with the relay codes. So, for example, for the R1 relay, 00 and 01 are clock inactives and 02 is clock active. 6 Have you finished your programming sequence? YES : Push again on «A» key. 1 BIP hears will confirm that you have leaved the programming mode. NO: you would like to modify one code, your keyboard being always in the programming mode status, enter your adress code according your change wished. MODIFICATION OF AN ALREADY PROGRAMMED KEYBOARD You maintain pushed the «A» key more than 4 seconds. 2 BIP hear indicate that you are on programming mode. Then you enter your own fitter master code. You will hear 1 BIP. Enter the adress code with the modification. Then you will continue the sixth step procedure to keep out from the programming mode. ERASING ALL THE MEMORY Warning : You must use this function with caution. You push the «A» key more than 4 seconds. 2 BIP hear will confirm that you are in programming mode. Then enter your own fitter master code. You will hear 1 BIP. With the «DEC» and «INC» keys, you will place on the «EFFACEMENT» menu parameter, then you push the «VAL» key during 3 seconds. The erasing procedure is starting. You will hear 6 BIP informing that all the memory will be erased. Some seconds later, you will read «VEILLE» on the screen saying that the erasing is done. During hearing the 6 BIPS, only the power supply cutting can stop the erasing procedure. So, If you want to stop the erasing, you have to cut off the power supply during the 6 low BIPS. PROGRAMMING STATUS If you push the CTL26 controller «VAL» key, you can read, on the LCD panel, the programming status stocked in memory. Then with the «DEC» and «INC» keys, you can read the memorised status. To read the authorised access codes, you place yourself on the «CODE D'ACCES» menu with the «DEC» and «INC» keys and you push during 3 seconds the VAL key. Then, by acting on the «DEC» and «INC» keys, you will see all the memorised access codes. To obtain the keypad active again, you must push shortly on the «VAL» key, so the LCD panel will be in wakefulness mode.
