1 SGI HUB Navigation Guide The new SGI member portal is now called the HUB and can be accessed at The SGI HUB can be viewed using Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari, as well as Apple devices (iphones, ipads), and Android devices (such as Samsung phones and tablets). To logon to the HUB, enter your address as Username and the Password provided by the HUB administrator in the introductory you received. This initial password will expire in seven (7) days, so please click on at the top of the landing page to change your password. Click on the Edit link on the Personal Information bar, then click change next to Password. You will be required to enter your new password twice and click. The new password must be eight or more characters and include at least one number and one upper-case letter. After your password has been changed, click on HOME on the top menu bar, then click your affinity logo. You should now be viewing your primary SGI affinity page. If you are a dual or triple member, you can access your other affinities by clicking on the View website as icons directly under the menu bar.

2 SGI HUB Feature and Functions The Menu Bar: The HUB Menu Bar provides quick access to frequently used areas of the website. Learning Alliance If you click on the TRAINING tab, you will see information about the SGI Learning Alliance programs. Learning Alliance is the education division of SGI that provides instructor-led interactive courses, virtual classrooms, online seminars, and quick-reference visual aids. You can view the full schedule of the Learning Alliance offerings by clicking on Calendar. You can also see specific upcoming events and classes by clicking on the drop-down box under Community Calendar. This will display the learning categories and events as seen below.

3 If you are registering for a Learning Alliance class using a Voucher, Referral Credit, or have any questions, please contact Gary Woodley at LearningAlliance@yoursgi.com or call Learning Alliance is constantly adding new courses and updated content, so check this area frequently for opportunities to embrace best practices and develop your staff. You can navigate back to your HUB affinity page by clicking the appropriate icon at the bottom of every Learning Alliance page. Resource Library Clicking the RESOURCE LIBRARY tab will display the affinity specific material that is available to SGI members at no additional cost. The Electricians Success Library access is shown below. The resources include business operation manuals, downloadable documents and templates, management guides, administrative handbooks, reporting tools, videos, and much more. The reading material is provided by an ereader which gives the user the ability to search, bookmark, flip through the pages, and view the table of contents. If you are reading a document and need to close your browser or shut down your computer, the ereader will pick up where you left off on a document. For ease of viewing, the ereader allows the user to show the displayed document in full screen by clicking the symbol on the toolbar at the bottom of the ereader. Additional toolbar options allow you to zoom in and out on the text, fast forward and backward, go to a specific numbered page, and select text sections. Under the ereader toolbar you will also see an option to download files that are noted in the manual.

4 You will also see many underlined links in blue text that will open additional information on a subject in a new browser tab or download templates and business operation documents. The the related material in the Library. box will display Partner Network The Partner Network tab will take you to BuyMax, the current buying and rebate program used by SGI members. The new SGI Partner Network will replace BuyMax in mid-2017 to provide enhanced purchasing power and rebate reporting. Events The Events tab will show you the SGI Events by category. Clicking on a category will take you to Event details, registration information, and the schedules. KPI Zone: The Key Performance Indicators Zone displays the SGI and industry standards for various categories that will help contractors compare their business performance to established metrics. In early 2017, SGI members will be able to input their own statistics which will automatically be calculated and displayed in the KPI Zone for easy comparison and evaluation. You can view the instructions for calculating your company KPI s by clicking on the link.

5 Scoreboard: The Scoreboard will allow you to manage the reporting of employee performance and show your team how they compare to the rest of the SGI membership in order to encourage and motivate your staff to push a bit harder each month. The Scoreboard allows the member to input employee details by job title, enter their monthly statistics by category, and review past performance. There is a link in the Scoreboard section that will show you the instructions for entering employee data and the rules for competing for Crown Champion awards. Upcoming Events: The Upcoming Events section will provide a quick look at the Events calendar to keep the members informed of available training courses, education opportunities, and member gatherings. Poll: The Poll area is intended to collect responses from SGI members that will be used to improve and enhance the member s experience. The survey questions will change periodically and will solicit feedback on subjects such as training material desires, event preferences, vendor use, business best practices, HUB suggestions, and much more.

6 Your SGI Support Team: The rotating section in the bottom left of your affinity pages shows the SGI Coaches, Advisors, and Mentors with their contact information. Clicking on the View all Support Staff link will display the full listing of Support Team resources that are available to SGI members. SGI HELP Center: SGI is excited to implement a ticket-driven HELP Center that will allow members to enter and track requests for assistance from the SGI Support Team. This powerful service tool will provide SGI Support staff with the ability to track and resolve your request by the end of the next business day. Members can submit a help request by clicking on the Visit Help Center at the bottom of the red box. This will take you to Help Center main page where you can click on Submit a request which will show the form seen below.

7 You can also submit a help request by clicking the red Help button that is located in the lower left-hand corner of every HUB page. Clicking this button will open the on-page box shown below that will allow you to enter your contact information and the nature of your support request. HR Compliance Corner: In the lower-right corner of your affinity page you will see a link to login to CertiPay, the SGI partner resource for information on Human Resources practices and regulations, management forms, time & attendance payroll, and healthcare benefits, as well as valuable links to federal, state, and province labor information. The CertiPay website is accessed through a single sign-on method that seamlessly passes your secure HUB login to the site. This means you do not have to keep track of yet another website login. The single sign-on software determines the country of your membership and will open the appropriate CertiPay site for Canada or the United States.

8 Member Referral Program: In the footer shown at the bottom of the HUB pages you will see a link to the Member Referral Program. If you, as an SGI member, refer another contractor in any of the four affinities, we will invite that company to Profit Day. If they attend the entire day, you will receive $1,000 credit to Learning Alliance. What makes this program so unique is they only need to attend they don t have to join!
