8 CORE FUNCTION There are many efficient functions for weave structures of Jacquard in WCAD. 9 1 VECTORIZING Convenient modification of the design In order to modify the design, we improved the better utilization of the design by upgrading the collapse of the outline in the case of resizing and rotating. 6

10 VECTORIZING Design modification often occur when weaving jacquard fabrics. Sometimes we also need to weave the same design in various sizes to suit the characteristics of the product (bedclothes, curtains, cushions, clothing, etc.). Before WCAD, the outlines were distorted when modifying the design such as zooming and rotating.(aliasing) To alleviate design rework due to aliasing, WCAD has improved these limits to maximize work efficiency. 13 2 DESIGN TOOLS WCAD includes a variety of functions such as editing, weave structures, colouring, and management that enhance the efficiency of your design work. 10

14 EDITORIAL In bitmap mode, you can change the thickness of the line or change the colour a lump, and it is possible to create clear gradient effects in consideration of weaving. Especially, EFFECT function maximizes the efficiency of various effects. The core of functions in WCAD is practicality customized to the weaving environment. WCAD's EFFECT is the editing function to maximize the effects by using various editing functions such as clipping function, overlay function, gradation function, etc. Up to five designs can be repeatedly copied and stored, and can be opened in any order as needed. You can change the thickness of the lines adjusted to weaving density, or you can change the colour of the surface easily with just a few clicks. It is easy to create gradient effects in consideration of weaving and to edit the design even after the gradation work. FUNCTION 11

15 STRUCTURE & COLORATION The most important feature of this function is how to utilize weave structures by the method of structuring weft. You can control the structures to be input for each weft, and it is possible to change the density only in a certain weft so that the structures can develop variously. In addition, features such as weave structures, colour and weaving draft are separated, so you can easily change a specific part. 1.Weave structures chart You can check and preview the weave structures, systematically put in the structures, and revise of the weft lines. It is easy to put the structures in conjunction with the coloring chart. Weave structures management You can store and search various structures, and carry out tasks such as inputting of the structures and revision. FUNCTION 12

16 2. Colour chart WCAD s color chart and weave structures chat are always linked. When you input or change the structures, the results are applied automatically to the coloring chart, making it easy to change. On the other hand, when the color chart is modified, it is linked with the structures chart according to the change of each weft, and the structures are applied to the image area through the color chart.
