17 Report Editor - 4. Objects Page Objects The report template is created by selecting different objects. All available objects are listed and can be accessed by using the scroll bar on the right. This list appears after using the downwards arrow in the box in the tool bar. The objects, which should appear in the template, are clicked one after the other. There are different types of objects: 1. Text boxes 2. Parameters 3. Chromatograms 4. Results lists 5. Control elements The text box represents a given text, which can be changed when editing the template. It will appear afterwards in all print-outs which use this template, e.g.. objects Text, Title. The parameter objects contain two text boxes: 1. the text describing the content of the following box, e.g. the object Chromatogram Name: Chromatogram Name). This text can be changed, e.g. in Name of the Chromatogram:. 2. This box is filled with X, in the print-out it will be replaced by the information given by the ChromStar program. For the representation of chromatograms the objects Chromatogram or Multi Chromatogram are used. The results lists are represented using the object Table. Control elements are: New Page, Label and Go To. New Page creates a page break. Label and Go To are used, when in one template a series of chromatograms is to be printed (e.g. with multi-channel data acquisition or in the ChromStar application Reprocess II-Compare). All objects between Label and Go To are repeatedly printed until all chromatograms are processed. Depending on its position the cursor changes its appearance and allows various operations with the objects. Above a corner of a box the cursor appears as inclined arrow. After clicking the mouse key and keeping it depressed and then moving the mouse the corner can be moved, thus allowing to change the size of a box.
