1 Tank Optimizer

2 The Tank Optimizer is a feature of the X30 Seeder Controller that will give you recommendations on the unit setup based on products Bourgault and rates in order Series to maximize acres 3320 per fill. PHD It will give you multiple options that can be used based on the current configuration of the tank. Three Configurations Many Options One Goal

3 To start using the Tank Optimizer you will need to be in the Seeder Controller. Access for the Tank Optimizer is gained through the Configuration Panel which is opened by touching button.

4 The Configuration Panel opens is used to open the Calibration Method by touching the Multi-Tank Calibration button.

5 Once in the Calibration Method window you will be touching the Tank Optimizer button. This will open the optimizer.

6 Once the Tank Optimizer wizard has been opened you will need to add product which will be drawn from the products that you have created in the monitor previously. You can add as many products as you have meters. Adding products is accomplished by touch the Blue add button.

7 Once you have touched the blue add button you can then start to add your products. This is done by touching Please Select which will bring up a drop down box with all the products that are entered in the monitor. You also have the option to delete a product by pressing the Red X under Remove?

8 Select the product that you wish to add to the optimizer and touch on it to highlight. Then press the green check box to continue. (the products can be entered in any order)

9 Once you have selected your product you will be able to assign the rate you wish to apply the product at. This is done by touching the lbs/ac under rate. If using VR use an average rate.

10 To enter the rate simply use the keypad that comes up on the screen. Once the rate is entered touch the green check box to continue.

11 Next step is the meter options. You can assign the product to Any Single Meter which will use only one tank for this product, Multiple Meters which will use more than one meter to run the product to maximize acres or Tank 1-5 can be selected if you already have this product in one of the tanks. Once selection has been made touch green check box.

12 The last option for the Tank Optimizer is to Split Rate. This can be used if you selected Multiple Tanks when you assigned the product in the last step. This will split the rate based on tank volume and run more than one meter with the product at the same time to achieve your rate. Select yes or no then press the green check box.

13 Now that we have all the info for our first product we can add another line for our second product by pressing the Blue Add Button.

14 Once the second line has been added follow the same steps to configure the new product and if you wish you can add more products when completed.

15 Once you have your products finalized in the Tank Optimizer you can proceed to step two of the wizard by Pressing the Yellow Arrow in the bottom right of the Optimizer wizard.

16 The monitor will give you multiple options to choose from for configurations to get you maximum acres per fill. The acres per fill are located under each tank. You can view the other configurations by pressing the next/return buttons. Each configuration will have different values for acres covered

17 After selecting the configuration that you want to use and press the green check box it will bring up a small dialog box asking you if you would like to apply the configuration to the tank. After you have selected yes it will turn off any combined tanks and also load the products in each tank as it shows in the Optimizer. It will also optimize the dash board along the bottom of the screen for any tanks that have been disabled.

18 If the configurator had combined a tank were the KNEX doors are installed you will have to change them.
