3 Internet Explorer 8 To delete cookies from your system without deleting the Ohnward Bancshares Authentication Cookie, click on Tools, then on Internet Options. First Click Here Then Click Here

4 This will open the following window: Click Here To Delete All Cookies Click Here To Manually Delete Cookies If you click on Delete you will see the following window. On this window, if you click on Delete Cookies or Delete All you will delete the Ohnward Bancshares Authentication Cookie that has been placed on your system. All other options will not affect the Ohnward Bancshares Authentication Cookie that has been placed on your system.

5 Do Not Click Here If you want delete your cookies without deleting the Ohnward Bancshares Authentication Cookie, you will need to manually delete your cookie. To do this, from the Internet Option screen, click on Setting, this will open the following window. From here, you will click the View File button to display your Temporary Internet Files folder where your cookies are stored.

6 Click Here To Manually Delete Cookies In this folder you can manually delete your cookies. All files that begin with cookie are the cookies for the different sites you have visited. The Ohnward Bancshares Authentication Cookie will look similar to the following image except will have your banks name in place of onlineaccess1 and your user ID in place of kjoyner. There may be more than one cookie that looks similar to this one, please leave all of these cookies. Your User ID Your Bank Name

7 Internet Explorer 7 To delete cookies from your system without deleting the Ohnward Bancshares Authentication Cookie, click on Tools, then on Internet Options. First Click Here Then Click Here

8 This will open the following window: If you click on Delete you will see the following window. On this window, if you click on Delete Cookies or Delete All you will delete the Ohnward Bancshares Authentication Cookie that has been placed on your system. All other options will not affect the Ohnward Bancshares Authentication Cookie that has been placed on your system.

9 If you want delete your cookies without deleting the Ohnward Bancshares Authentication Cookie, you will need to manually delete your cookie. To do this, from the Internet Option screen, click on Setting, this will open the following window. 11 Internet Explorer 7 and 8 If you have increased your privacy level, and wish to keep it this way, you can add your bank s website as an approved site which will allow you to receive your Authentication Cookie. To do this open Internet Options (see procedures above for your version). Once Internet Options is open, click on the Privacy Tab and then on the Sites button. This is where you will allow your bank to set cookies on your PC. You will then have the Per Site Privacy Actions window open. We want to add your banks domain to this list. In the box labeled Address of Website we want to enter secure2.yourbank.com. Then click the allow button. This will add your banks website to the Managed Websites list.

12 This is all that is required to insure that your Internet Banking Authentication Cookie will be added to your system. You can click OK here, and on the next screen as well. You may need to close Internet Explorer before this will take affect.

13 Firefox 2.0 Firefox 2.0 can be set to automatically delete all cookies every time it closes. If this is the case then you Ohnward Bancshares Authentication Cookie will be deleted. To check your setup, follow the steps below. You will need to open the Firefox options screen by clicking on Tools and then on Internet Options. See the following screen shot for reference. Click here to check if Firefox is automatically deleting your cookies. On the options window that opens, click on the Privacy Icon at the top to get to the section we need to make sure we are not deleting the Authentication Cookie. From here, you will click on the Settings button in the Private Data Section.

14 On the Clear Private Data window that opens, we want to make sure that the check box next to Cookies IS NOT checked. If this box is checked, whenever your private data is cleared, the Ohnward Bancshares Authentication Cookie will be deleted. After you have cleared the check box next to cookies, click OK to save the changes.

15 You will also need to check for a couple of other options on the Options screen. Under the cookies section, you need to make sure that the check box next to Accept Cookies From Sites is checked, and that the Keep Until option states they expire (See the following screen as a reference). Once you have verified and adjusted these options, click OK to save your changes. This should prevent Firefox from deleting the Ohnward Bancshares Authentication Cookie.

16 Netscape 7.2 Netscape is similar to Firefox. If you click Remove All Cookies, all cookies, including your bank s Authentication Cookie will be removed. To delete cookies without deleting the Authentication Cookie, you must manually delete cookies. With the Cookie Manager open, choose a cookie and select Remove Cookie (see below), leaving any cookie that comes from the site secure2.yourbank.com

17 Ad-Aware SE Personal Using the default install and running a full system scan, the Ohnward Bancshares Authentication Cookie was not marked as a tracking cookie. Ad-Aware should not delete the Authentication Cookie; no options were found that would allow for the deletion of Cookies. Spybot - Search and Destroy Spybot does not affect the Ohnward Bancshares Authentication Cookie by default. Its scanning engine does not mark the cookie as tracking by default. You can set Spybot to ignore cookies, and this will help ensure that it will not have problems with the Authentication Cookie. To have Spybot ignore the Authentication Cookie, you will need to start Spybot and switch to advanced mode. To do this, click on Mode and select Advanced Mode. This will add additional options on the left hand side of the screen. From there you will want to click on Settings, to open the settings for Spybot. Once on the settings screen, you will see several different settings areas. You will click on Ignore cookies to access the cookie settings (if you need to scroll, you can use the down arrow in the right hand corner of the settings areas). After clicking on Ignore cookies, a list of the cookies on your system will be shown on the right. In this list you will find the entry that says Cookie: yourname@secure2.yourbank.com/ for Internet Explorer Cookies. In the your name section will be the username that you use to log in to your PC and the your bank sections will contain your banks name. You will want to place an entry next to that cookie, or any other cookie that has secure2.yourbank.com next to it.

18 You can now close Spybot, and there should be no further problems with Spybot and the Ohnward Bancshares Authentication Cookie.

19 McAfee Internet Security Suite 2007 Using a default installation, nothing removes the Authentication Cookie. You can set McAfee to allow cookies from our site, to insure that this is not a problem. On the main McAfee SecurityCenter Screen, select the Parental Controls section, then click on configure. The Parental Controls Configuration screen will open. On this screen, click on the Advanced button to adjust the cookie settings.

20 On the screen that opens (see below), you will click on Cookies on the left side of the screen under Global Parental Controls. This will change the right side to show the cookie settings. On the right side, you will enter secure2.yourbank.com to the box that begins (see below for an example). After entering our address, click the Add button to add it to the list. Once you have finished, you should see secure2.yourbank.com in the box under Accept Cookies. You con now click OK to save your changes.

21 You may now exit McAfee Security Center.

22 Symantec Internet Security 2007 Still Testing. Microsoft Defender Still Testing. Looking at getting it downloaded and tested. CCleaner CCleaner will delete the Ohnward Bancshares Authentication Cookie, until the settings for the program have been modified. Before you can change the settings of CCleaner, you will need to successfully authenticate and authorize your computer. The cookie must be present on your system before you can tell CCleaner not to delete it. Open CCleaner by right clicking on the Recycle Bin and selecting Open CCleaner. On some systems, this may not be an option, but there should be an alternative to open CCleaner, usually an icon on the desktop. Once open, the screens should be similar or identical. With CCleaner open, click on Options on the left hand side of the screen. This will open the options page. Here you will click on Cookies to add which cookies will not be removed when CCleaner performs a cleaning on the system. The right side of the screen will show Cookies to Delete and the Cookies to Keep. We want to select the secure2.yourbank.com entry under Cookies to Delete and move it to Cookies to Keep. After selecting the secure2.yourbank.com entry, click the > button to move it to the Cookies to Keep column.

23 Spyware Doctor There is no reason to believe that this program affects the Authentication Cookie. There were no settings to prevent cookies from being blocked or deleted. However, a scan could possibly return the Authentication Cookie as being a tracking cookie. If this does happen you must unselect this cookie from being deleted. The cookie will have secure2.yourbank.com in it. ZoneAlarm Security Suite There seems to be no issue with ZoneAlarm and the Ohnward Bancshares Authentication Cookie.
