1 Printing from your Personal Laptop on Campus You have two methods to choose from. Method 1: (Install Printcub Popup software and connect to printers. Once setup, printing is as easy as sending the job to the printer) 1. Download the PrinterCub Popup Client.msi from the portal. 2. Run the msi 3. Click on next 4. Accept the Licence agreement.

2 5. Click on Next 6. Click on Next

3 7. Ensure the Run PrinterCub Popup Client now box is ticked. Click on Finish 8. If Windows Security Alert window appears, please tick both the Private and Public networks. 9. If you didn t see the firewall message, you will need to manually allow the program to communicate through your Laptop s firewall. A. Go to Control Panel -> Windows Firewall -> Allow an app or feature through Windows Firewall B. Click on the Change Settings button.

4 C. Tick the box against PrinterCubpop for both Private & Public networks and Click on Ok 10. Every time you restart your laptop the printercub pop will appear. 11. This is necessary to allow printing through CQURoam 12. Next step is to connect to the local printer. If you haven t connected to CQURoam, please do so using your student credentials. Double click on the links below for the desired printer. When you are prompted for your student credentials, please tick the remember password tick box. List of Printers Rockhampton Mackay Gladstone

5 Bundaberg Information for All Campuses 13. Open a file or document that you would like printed. Bring up the Print wizard (Ctrl P) and select the desired printer. 14. If you have selected a HP printer, a PrinterCub popup will appear displaying your print options. If you wish to proceed and print your document you will need to click on OK. The document will be printed and you will be charged for your print job. 15. Rockhampton If you have selected the ROK PrintAnyware B&W or ROK PrintAnywareCol printer queues, you will need to go to the Library Building 10 ground floor to release your print job through the Bears Terminal on the Bizhub Multifunction Device (MFD). The ROK PrintAnyware B&W or ROK PrintAnywareCol print queues are for the Multi- Function Devices (MFD) in the Library, a Black & White Bizhub552 and a Colour BizhubC452. Mackay If you have selected the MKY PrintAnyware B&W or MKY PrintAnywareCol printer queues, you will need to go to the Library Building 719 level 1 to release your print job through the Bears Terminal on the Bizhub Multifunction Device (MFD).

6 The MKY PrintAnyware B&W or MKY PrintAnywareCol print queues are for the Multi- Function Devices (MFD) in the Library, a Black & White Bizhub552 and a Colour BizhubC452. Gladstone If you have selected the GLT PrintAnyware B&W or GLT PrintAnywareCol printer queues, you will need to go to the Library Building 607 ground floor to release your print job through the Bears Terminal on the Bizhub Multifunction Device (MFD). The GLT PrintAnyware B&W or GLT PrintAnywareCol print queues is for the Multi-Function Device in the Library, a colour BizhubC452. Bundaberg If you have selected the BDG PrintAnyware B&W or BDG PrintAnyware Col printer queues, you will need to go to the Library Building 3, ground floor to release your print job through the Bears Terminal on the Bizhub Multifunction Device (MFD). The BDG PrintAnyware B&W or BDG PrintAnywareCol print queues are for the Multi- Function Devices (MFD) in the Library, a Black & White Bizhub552 and a Colour BizhubC452. All You need to log onto the MFD terminal to release your print job securely. You will only see your print jobs and no one elses. You will only be charged the print job costs when you release it from the terminal. You can reduce printing costs by selecting duplex or decolourisation. You are able to delete the print job from the terminal. If you have not printed the job in 24 hours it will be automatically deleted. Go to either BizhubC452 or Bizhub552 MFD Terminal and log in with your Card & Pin number to release your print job.

7 Method 2: 1. Visit the website 2. Log on with your Card & Pin number 3. Browse to your file and upload it for printing (PDF, Word, Excel, Powerpint or image files only). 4. Select the nearest printer and confirm the printing options. Printers names reference their building room locations as per Method 1, Step 12..

8 5. Click on next 6. Printing costs will be displayed. Click on the Print button to send the print job. This is when you will be charged the printing costs.

9 7. Collect your print job from the printer.
