3 Description Moonshot Component Pack is a comprehensive firmware solution tested on the Moonshot System and delivered as a compressed file. The compressed file includes all the component files to update a Moonshot System. Users deploy the firmware updates contained in the Moonshot Component Pack from a command line by using the ilo Chassis Manager CLI or Moonshot-45G/180G Switch Module CLI, or by using the included HP Smart Update Manager. Added RESET CARTRIDGE/SWITCH POWER [Force]{<cartridges> <switches> } Added Kerberos support Updated SSL/SSH Security libraries, which also enables TLS 1.2. Added SET/SHOW CARTRIDGE ASSET command. Added SET/SHOW CHASSIS PROMPT command. Added LIST option to SHOW NODE OPTIONS command. SET SNMP TRAPCOMMUNITY Added ability to set SNMP Trap Community string in CLI, REST, and GUI. Default is COMPAQ. Updated SHOW CONFIG to add new settings (except SET CARTRIDGE ASSET). Added CLEAR option to SET NODE BOOT command. Added Switch temperature sensor locations to SHOW SWITCH TEMPERATURE command. SET FACTORY DEFAULT also erases script files and firmware files from the NAND. For SATA drives with no log page 30, indicates that a drive is present. Bump CLI Version to 2.4. Modified CLI parser table to alphabetize all entries, which places the CLI help show options in alphabetical order. Added ilo log entries for user actions. Comwolff switch flashing. Mellanox NIC flashing change to read MACs from FRU instead of SPI part. Modified SHOW FIRMWARE REVISIONS LIST to better align fields, and to split each item in Other Firmware to be on a separate line. The Mezz Cartridge Data was moved to the Other Firmware field also. GUI enhancements: HPE rebranding. Enhanced launch of Integrated Remote Console (IRC) to add Java WebStart and Java Applet options. Previously only.net IRC was available. Added disk information to node page when available (cartridge must have been booted since ilo CM started). Not available for NVMe M.2's. View/set cartridge asset tag from Cartridge page. Added Kerberos configuration in GUI. View/set SNMP Trap Community string from SNMP Settings page. Import larger 8k SSH key support on User Administration page. Enhance node/cartridge pages for multiselect to have horizontal scroll bar always on screen to access all content. Removed filters on Chassis page only. Icons for Remote Console on Chassis Page. Icons for Remote Console beside Actions menu for cartridges with ilo. Added link to ilo web page for cartridges with ilo on the Cartridge page. Cartridge/Node multiselect view window has a working horizontal scroll bar on screen at all times. New icons for UIDs. Added current ilo CM date/time on Chassis page. Added Daisy Chain config in Network page Change session/cookies not to interact with ilo sessions, so that logging in to one does not affect a session on the other. Improved firmware update error reporting to indicate completion status when some targets were not applicable for the firmware and others were successfully updated. Added Trusted Platform Module (TPM) state as Enabled" or Disabled for all cartridges with TPMs. This state is in SHOW NODE INFO and in the Node page in the GUI. ilo Moonshot firmware: Initial version of ilo Moonshot firmware on a compute cartridge: Provides Remote Console and Virtual Media in Moonshot 1500 chassis, not full ilo functionality. GUI Limited to IRC page. RIS Limited to ROM provider extensions, and only available through ilo CM at port 735+slot. Emulates Satellite Controller. 8 Enhancements

9 HPE Moonshot-45Gc/45XGc/180XGc Switch Firmware: Enable DHCP by default on management interface. Implement error reporting mailbox register for Chassis Manager firmware update, Fixes HPE Moonshot 45 Port/180 Port Switch Firmware Added mask information to show snmp command. Added Java Web Start & Java applet Remote Console Support to the Moonshot Remote Console Administrator. Issue Invalid disk information sometimes showing up for nodes, along with corresponding erroneous IML log entries for wear level exceeded. ilo CM problems: Problem with resetting of Chassis Manager potentially causing a brief loss of switch connectivity for ilo-based cartridges. Problem with collated Virtual Serial Port (VSP) stopping. Problem on Firmware page in GUI where a CPLD could erroneously show up as Bootleg. CLEAR SESSION command cannot end an IPMI SOL connection. CONNECT NODE VSP ACQUIRE cannot end an IPMI SOL session and start VSP. Miscellaneous fixes for filters on node and cartridge pages. Problems with chassis access getting assigned in some cases when not selected. IML Count does not increase to more than one count. Problem with the SET NODE OPTIONS DEFAULT command setting proper default. Problem with the SHOW NODE OPTIONS command erroneously marking a selection as #default. Problems setting node BOOTONCE options from REST and GUI for Operator privilege Set downlink ports to STP edged-port mode for 45Gc switch. Fixed M.2 Solid State Drive (SSD) issue during boot or power-cycle on ProLiant m710 and m710p Server Cartridges resulting in Drive Not Ready message. System ROM for HPE ProLiant m710p Server Cartridge: Issue when setting the Graphic Aperture Size to 1 GB through Chassis Manager caused some virtualization software not to function properly.
