3 3d machine parts applications of Rapid Prototype Technology. 3-dimensional technology has come a long way, in the present you are able to build from your computer a 3d generated CAD model and print it in a Rapid Prototyper, or even so you can do a 3d scan of a machine part with a 3d laser scanner redesign it in a 3d computer software and print it in a Rapid Prototyper and obtain a 3d prototype model of machine part. Most of this technology is know a days use for Reverse Engineering applications and 3d industrial design modeling. This report is orientated to 3d machine parts models. In December 2009 two members of the Staff of FLAAR Reports and Dr. Hicholas Hellmuth visited the Z Corporation Corporate offices United States headquarters where they received training in Z Scanner 800 for further evaluation and reviews on scanning with this 3d portable handheld laser scanner. Where they had the opportunity to inspect some of their applications of 3d Rapid Prototypers.
