This is a service that will allow calls to be placed via satellite during times when the standard cellular system is not available or there is no cellular coverage in the area. This feature requires a special device capable of satellite communication; this device is called the Terrestar Genus. In order to have the ability to use satellite service you must have the following 3 items: standard cellular voice plan, cellular data plan, and the satellite feature added to the mobile number in question. Pricing for these features and devices are located in the updated ATT rate plan matrix attached. The attached rate plan matrix has also been updated to reflect the new WSCA 22% discount, this discount was previously 20%.
