ADMISSION COUNSELLING AND PROVISIONAL MERIT LIST Instructions for Counselling and Merit 1. The candidates who have submitted their registration form successfully and seek to get admission in M. Ed. have to check the provisional merit list given on official website of Gujarat University. 2. All the candidates are requested to check the provisional list. If any query is there in merit marks of the candidate, he / she has to contact personally on 7th July 2015 between am and 5.00 pm at M. Ed. Admission Cell, IAS Training Centre, b/h SBI, Opp. Gujarat University Library, Navarangpura, Ahmedabad The counseling session is arranged on 8 th July, 2015 at M. Ed. Admission Cell for selection of the college. The candidate has to be present personally in counseling session.

2 4. All the candidates having common merit number from 1 to 150 have to come personally at 9.30 am. And all other candidates have to report at am. On 8 th July 2015 with self attested photocopies of all the required documents. Candidates have to bring original copies of the same for verification. 5. The counseling session is organized at M. Ed. Admission cell, IAS training Centre. 6. The candidate has no right to change the college after getting admission in one college. 7. Candidate has to pay the fees for first semester in CASH only at the time of counselling. If fees is not paid at a time, the candidate cannot get admission. 8. Amount of the fees: a. University Department : i. Male candidates: Rs. 2, (First Semester Fees) ii. Female candidates: Rs. 1, (First Semester Fees) b. Self Financed College : Male and female candidates: Rs. 22, (First Semester Fees) 9. Fees for Self-Financed colleges will be finalized by the Fee Committee. Fees shown above is adhoc, there may be a change according to the decision of the fee committee. 10. Once fees is paid, it will not be refunded. The candidate has to submit an original mark-sheet after selecting the college. This mark-sheet will be returned to the candidate only after fees will be paid by him/her. 11. List of Documents to bring at the time of counseling Candidate hat to bring self attested photocopies along with original copies of the following testimonials and documents a. Mark sheets of First Year, Second Year and Third year of Graduation Level. b. Mark sheets of First Year and Second year of Post-Graduation Level (If PG is completed).

3 c. Mark sheets of both the semesters of B. Ed. or a mark sheet of final examination, if B. Ed. is done in yearly pattern. d. Cast Certificate (For SC and ST candidate) e. Non Creamy Layer Certificate (For SEBC candidate) f. PEC or Receipt of fees paid for PEC (For OU and OUG candidate and for whom it is applicable) g. Civil Surgeon s Certificate Showing percentage of Disability (For physically disabled and blind candidate) h. Service book, NOC, Appointment Letter, Experience Certificate (For Experienced Candidate) 12. Original documents have to be presented by the candidates for checking only. The admission committee checks it and if any false information is found, the registration form will be cancelled.
