1 From the President! We had a GREAT March 15th meeting on Continuous Auditing and Data Mining using ACL. Also, we had the highest attendance (40) of any of our meetings. It was a very informative meeting with a lot of participation by everyone. I would like to thank Dana Dugas for the presentation. Also, I would like to thank my fellow panel members: Dana Dugas, Jill Daigle, and Kevin Catalon. This meeting was also our chapter s annual meeting and we elected Chapter Officers for the year. I want to congratulate the ISACA-Baton Rouge Chapter Officers. Dayle Alsbury, Director of Security Services at TraceSecurity, will be presenting at our next Chapter meeting. The presentation will be SANs Security Trends. I hope you will make an effort to attend. Dayle has over 15 years experience in systems development, network management, systems security, and physical security in a variety of regulated industries. Prior to Starmount, Dayle was the technology supervisor of the service division of United Companies Financial Corporation Dayle is a sought after industry expert. He has been featured in Time Magazine and has been an industry contributor with SANS and Radio America's Home and Family Finance Show. Dayle holds a bachelor's degree in business management and an MBA in financial information systems from Southeastern Louisiana University. ***Good News!!**** Congratulations to our incoming Vice President for the Year, Dana Dugas. She received a promotion to Senior Information Systems Auditor at Amedisys Home Health Services! In December 2006, Stacy Manning received her undergraduate degree in ISDS from LSU and began working full-time as an Internal Auditor for the Louisiana Lottery Corporation. Congratulations Stacy!
