1 Matrix Technical Support Mailer 55_(a) SATATYA MOBILE VIEWER for Android OS with Matrix SATATYA DVR/NVR/HVR Dear Friends, This mailer will help you to configure Matrix SATATYA MOBILE VIEWER for remote viewing with Matrix SATATYA DVR/NVR/HVR. Matrix Mobile Viewer (SATATYA MV) is an application that supports viewing video streams of an Analog or IP camera connected to a Matrix Surveillance System such as DVR, NVR and HVR; on a mobile supporting Wi-Fi / GPRS / 3G network connectivity. SATATYA MV is available for ios on Apple store and for android OS on Google play (Play Store) with the name MATRIX SATATYA MOBILE VIEWER. Let s see configuration flow of SATATYA MV in android OS. Note: For Android, it requires Android version 2.2 and above. With SATATYA MV the user can: Configure multiple devices and easily connect them. View multiple camera streams at a time. Toggle between cameras by using Swipe and Change the Channel feature. Designate a Camera as Important and access it instantly. Take snapshots. Control camera position with our Remote PTZ control. Efficiently search the video streams with forward play, reverse playback, fast play and slow play in remote playback feature. View in detail with 4x zoom

2 Scenario 1: SATATYA MV and SATATYA DVR/NVR/HVR in LAN. SATATYA DVR/NVR/HVR is connected in Local Area Network with LAN IP Installed Router also supports Wi-Fi for mobile users. Mobile phone user with Android OS connected with Wi-Fi and IP address assigned to it is Laptop user with Windows OS is also connected with Wi-Fi and IP address assigned to it is Installation and Configuration of SATATYA MV:

7 Scenario 2: SATATYA DVR/NVR/HVR is behind Router and SATATYA MOBILE VIEWER is connected over internet. SATATYA DVR/NVR/HVR is connected behind router with LAN IP TCP Port 8000 in router is forwarded to LAN IP address of SATATYA DVR/NVR/HVR that is Mobile user with SATATYA MV is connected over internet with SATATYA DVR/NVR/HVR.

8 Installation and Configuration of SATATYA MV: Configuration steps as per image 1 to 11 will remain same as in scenario Select DDNS, Matrix DNS MAC Address or Matrix DNS Host Name when SATATYA DVR/NVR/HVR is behind router. Configure details like Host Name, Port, User Name, Password etc. Configuration steps as per image 14 to 16 will remain same as in scenario 1. Image12 options: DDNS: Use DDNS option when using services of dyndns.org Matrix DNS MAC Address: If you are selecting this option as Connect Mode then you need to enter MAC address of SATATYA DVR/NVR/HVR in the MAC address field. For an instance, you need to enter 00-1B D-FB as this MAC address is registered with free Matrix DNS server. Matrix DNS Host Name: If you are selecting this option as Connect Mode then you need to enter host name of SATATYA DVR/NVR/HVR registered with free Matrix DNS server in the Host name field. For an instance, you need to

9 enter matrixho which is the domain name registered with free matrix DNS server. Scenario 3: SATATYA DVR/NVR/HVR is on Static public IP address and SATATYA MOBILE VIEWER is connected over internet. Installation and configuration of SATATYA MV: Configuration steps as per image 1 to 12 will remain same as in scenario Enter Public IP Address in IP address field, Port, User Name and Password Configuration steps as per image 14 to 16 will remain same as in scenario 1.
