2 SMTP Settings: The Unified Messaging Functionality of SARVAM UCS includes using SMTP to send for the following functions: Send notification to extension users about the arrival of new messages (with/without Voice Mail attachment). Send notification to extension users about the memory usage status of their mailbox. Memory usage notification to System Engineer(SE). Send mails from SMTP Clients while using the SMS SERVER Application. Pre-Requisites: Disable 2-Step Verification option from your mail account. Enable Allow less secure apps option from your mail account. Here for example we have shown you the steps for G-mail Account. How to disable 2-Step Verification for G-mail Account? Click on My Account as shown below.

3 Go to Sign-in & Security option. Disable 2-Step Verification option as shown below.

4 How to Enable Allow less secure apps option for G-mail Account? Click on My Account as shown below. Go to Sign-in & Security option.

5 Enable Allow less secure apps option as shown below. SMTP Settings are used for the following functions: Send notification to extension users about the new messages (with/without voic attachment). Send notification to extension users about the memory usage status of their mailbox. Memory usage notification to System Engineer(SE). Send s from SMTP Clients while using the SMS Server Application. Steps to configure SMTP account in SARVAM UCS: Step 1: Provide connectivity between SARVAM UCS and SMTP Server. To check the connectivity with SMTP Server, follow below steps: 1. Go to Maintenance. 2. Click Network Diagnosis. 3. Select Ping and enter IP Address/Domain Name of your SMTP Server. 4. Click Start.

6 Step 2: Under Configuration, click SMTP settings. Click on Add Account.

7 Step 3: Configure SMTP Server Address, SMTP Server Port, ID, User ID, Password, Enable Authentication and SSL/TLS flag (If required) as shown below and submit the page. Step 4: Click on Test Account. Success message will be received on successful connection.

8 Step 5: Go to VMS General Parameters Select General Settings Use SMTP Account. Select the SMTP Account for all VMS Notifications, Message Notifications and Memory Usage Notifications.

9 Step 6: Go to Extension Voice Mail Settings Message Wait Settings Configure Message Wait Notification via options. Configure Notification as With Attachment. Configure the Address to which the Notification is to be sent. Note: The attachment will be sent for file size lesser than 20MB, else the notification will be sent without attachment.
