3 Installation Procedure See attached wiring diagrams 1. The NVIROMON is a 1U rack mountable unit. (Page 4) Mount the NVIROMON in an available 1U slot inside an allocated cabinet. 2. Power feed connection. (Page 4) Connect the IEC power inlet to an available 230VAC supply. Switch on the backup battery activation switch at the back of the unit. 3. GSM Sim card (optional) Ensure that the mains power feed is switched off and ensure that the backup battery switch, mounted on the back of the unit, is in the off position before fitting the SIM card into the SIM card slot at the bottom of the unit. Connect the GSM external antenna to the RF MMCX connector. 4. Temperature and water probes (Diag. 0 Page 6) Place the two temperature and water probes at required locations. Connect the probes to the NVIROMON probe ports with CAT5 cables. Both ends of the CAT5 cable have RJ45 connectors. 5. Flood sensors (Diag. 0 Page 6) Place the four flood sensors at required locations. Connect the sensors to the temperature and water probe with CAT5 cables. Both ends of the CAT5 cable have RJ45 connectors. Flood sensors from Multi IO probe (Diag. 7-8 Page 7) Place the four flood sensors at required locations. Connect the sensors to the multi IO probe with CAT5 cables. Both ends of the CAT5 cable have RJ45 connectors. 6. Multi IO probe NDCNTRLRS485 (Diag. 2 Page 8) Place the multi IO probe at required location close to the access door. Connect the probe to the NVIROMON probe port with a CAT5 cable. Both ends of the CAT5 cable have RJ45 connectors VDC Power Supply (Diag. 2 Page 8) Place the Power supply at required location close to the access door. Connect the Power supply to an available 230VAC supply. Connect the Power supply to the multi IO probe with a suitable 2 core cable. The cable connects to a 2 pin connector on the multi IO probe. 8. SAGEM MA100 biometric reader (Diag. 5 Page 10) Install the SAGEM MA100 unit at required location outside and close to the access door. Connect the SAGEM MA100 unit with a CAT5 cable to port 5 of the multi IO probe. The CAT5 cable connects to the multi IO probe with a RJ45 connector. Connect the other end of the cable to the SAGEM MA100 unit according to diagram 5 on page 9. 2

4 9. DOOR contacts (Diag. 3-4 Page 9) Install the Door contacts at required location inside the access door. Connect the Door contacts with a CAT5 cable to port 4 of the multi IO probe. The CAT5 cable connects to the multi IO probe with a RJ45 connector. Connect the other end of the cable to the Door contacts according to diagram 3-4 on page EXIT button (Diag. 3-4 Page 9) Install the EXIT button at required location inside the access door. Connect the EXIT button with a CAT5 cable to port 3 of the multi IO probe. The CAT5 cable connects to the multi IO probe with a RJ45 connector. Connect the other end of the cable to the EXIT button according to diagram 3-4 on page BREAK GLASS contacts (Diag. 6 Page 11) Install the BREAK GLASS contacts at required location inside and close to the access door. Connect the BREAK GLASS contacts with a CAT5 cable to port 6 of the multi IO probe. The CAT5 cable connects to the multi IO probe with a RJ45 connector. Connect the other end of the cable to the BREAK GLASS connectors according to diagram 6 on page MAGLOCK (Diag. 6 Page 11) Install the MAGLOCK at required location inside the access door. Connect one end of a CAT5 cable to the FIREMAN S SWITCH contacts. Connect the other end of the cable to the MAGLOCK contacts according to diagram 6 on page 10. 3
