The SuperImager Plus line of products are a new generation of imaging units running under Linux OS and have optional dual boot capabilities. 4 SuperImager Plus Line of Products Next Generation Linux Dual Boot Units - Full Mobile Forensic Investigation units The SuperImager line of products has built-in and supplied with extremely fast forensic imaging capabilities. The main function of the units is performing a very fast forensic imaging from multiple sources to multiple destinations in parallel operations. The same units have also the ability to erase data from hard disk drives and storage devices, restore forensic images back to original drives, calculate hash authentication and verification, and perform full encryption. Most of the units are compact and are built to be mobile, easy to carry solutions. They come with touchscreen displays and easy-to-use applications, all designed with simple self-explanatory icons. All models come with SATA, USB3.0 ports, 1GbE, and some models come with additional SAS ports. Example of the use of the applications: The user can choose to run forensic imaging with E01 format with a full compression, with 16 parallel compression engines, encryption with AES256, 3 simultaneous hash authentications, and save the forensic Images into 2 external Evidence drives, to a USB3.0 external RAID storage, and to a local network all at the same time. 5 Capture Data from the Internal Hard Disk Drive of a Computer: Using USB or 1Gigabit Ethernet ports of the laptop/computer, enables capture without the need to remove the hard drive from the laptop/computer Hard Drive Detection Application Screen: All drives and storage devices that are connected to the units will be scanned and displayed in one application screen called the detection screen. User can tap on each drive to get its detailed info, as well as selecting it for the desired operation they are planning to use Parallel Forensic Imaging: It depends on the number and the kind of ports that each model has. The session control application screen provides the user with a very comprehensive information and control over the running sessions, including all the settings, and ability to abort the session Parallel Forensic Imaging - Multiple Session Operations: The user can run multiple efficient parallel operations and can mix different types of operations; for example; erase a hard disk drive on one port, hash verification on another port, while performing forensic imaging on other ports (each operation can function as a new independent session) HPA/DCO Automatic Supports: The application has the ability to automatically open HPA and DCO areas and resize the Suspect hard drive to its full native capacity in order to capture any hidden data (HPA/DCO are special areas on the hard disk drive that support this feature) Bad Sectors Handling: The user can select to skip bad sectors/blocks, or abort the operation when it encounters a bad sectors/ block of sectors on the Suspect hard disk drive Evidence Hard Disk Drive Formats: NTFS**, FAT, exfat, HFS+, EXT4 S.M.A.R.T. drive test features: 3 different tests are available to test the condition of the Suspect drive prior to forensic imaging Virtual Drive Emulator Option: Emulate, safe and secure, the Suspect drive in its native environment (mount full image, DD, or E01 for Windows only) and copy selective files from the Suspect drives **Extremely fast drives utilizing Paragon drives Erase Hard Disk Drives: Using DOD M, Security Erase includes Enhanced mode, or user can define its own data fill pattern and numbers of erase iterations. While the units use Linux to capture data in maximum efficiency and security, the user can reboot the unit after the data is captured, and use Windows to run third-party applications for the analysis phase Expansion options and special drive support in special models: Express Card Port Option: Optional port that needs to be pre-installed at the time of purchasing in the main unit. This option gives the user the ability to plug and use a few kinds of express cards adapters, and support capture and erase data from additional interfaces and devices. This option is very useful and saves in most of the cases the need for expensive and bulky expansion box. The Express Card adapters can be dual port 1394A/B, PCIE memory cards (Sony SxS), Mini-PCIE (that are not supported by SATA protocols and are used in some MacBook Air, with M.2 (NGFF) form factor) Special Expansion Port and Expansion Box Option: Optional expansion ports that enable user to plug in an Expansion Box to add on many devices. The user can configure the main unit with only one connectivity port or Express Card Port or Expansion Port. The Expansion port is mostly required when user needs to capture or erases data from SCSI Hard Disk Drives.
