3 Preparing for installation

4 1.1 Use pre-flight checklist Following questions are essential for us to know onsite conditions on your defined installation location, hence key information to guarantee a successful installation. If questions don t apply to you, please skip accordinlgy. 1). Internet connection WiFi 2.4GHz WiFi 5GHz Ethernet 2). Internet other Authentication portal e.g WiFi at Starbukcs or airports Whitelist to bypass authentication portal 3). Electricity Power sockets Power cable PoE Other, please specify: _ 4). Installation location Ceiling, answer 5) Wall, skip 5) 5). Ceiling type Drop ceiling Open ceiling Other, please specify: _ 6). Pictures Provide pictures of install location to support@measureofquality.com 03

5 1.2 Use service checklist To fully benefit from what gams has to offer, some more customer information are required. Kindly fill out the checklist below, so we can create all the necessary permissions. 1). Control center access Control center accounts* (name and required) 2). Operation hour _ 3). Live display page completion Company logo and background images If you want to have customized live IAQ display page, please provide the source picture you wish to use. An optimal image is suggested to be at least 1500 pixel wide. Please make sure there are no copyright infrigements when using the images. Password protection Should there be a password prompt when accessing the live display page to prevent access from third parties. * Report notification s will be sent to the same recipients by default. 04

6 Installing monitors

7 2.1 Monitor installation options Drop ceiling mount Wall mount Open ceiling mount Floating monitor to page 07 to page 09 to page 10 to page 11 06

8 2.2 Mounting monitor to drop ceiling Remove the ceiling tile and inspect inside for access to power supply. Affix a wooden block to the middle back of the ceiling tile. See Page 09 for detailed instructions. Securely attach the back plate of monitor onto the ceiling tile. Make sure there is access to a power source near the installation point. Connect monitor to power source. Mount the ceiling tile with the monitor back into place. 07

9 2.2.1 Attaching monitor to wooden box Align the wooden block to the back plate of the monitor as shown. The drop ceiling tile should be sandwiched between the wooden block and monitor back plate. Drill a hole through the ceiling tile so cables can run through all 3 pieces. Screw the back plate of the monitor onto the wooden block securely. The drop ceiling tile should be sandwiched between the wooden block and the monitor back plate. Run the power cable through the hole of the monitor back plate and wooden block. Secure the blue connector in its place. Gently tug the power cable to ensure it is securely in place. Attach the monitor back plate onto the body of the monitor by twisting the plate tightly into place. Twist in an anti clockwise (counter clockwise) direction. 08

10 2.3 Mounting monitor to wall Locate the installation spot. Unscrew the monitor back plate and place on the wall with the arrow pointing up as shown. Mark the points on the wall where you need to insert screws. Drill a hole into the wall then place the anchors onto the screws as shown. Place the power cable on the back of the monitor plate as shown. Screw the back plate onto the anchors on the wall. Connect the blue connector as shown then screw the monitor onto the back plate. 09

11 2.4 Mounting monitor to open ceiling Insert zip ties into the back monitor plate as shown. Tie zip ties around a pipe or ceiling beam as shown. Insert the blue connector through the monitor back plate as shown. Connect blue connector to the monitor as described in page 09. Screw the monitor onto the back plate. Assembly is complete as shown. 10

13 2.5.1 Attaching monitor to Plexi stand Remove the back plate of the monitor. Centre the back plate of the monitor on the plexi glass with the holes aligned as shown. Insert screw E into the holes as shown. Insert the washers the screws. D onto Screw on the butterfly nuts F. 12

14 2.5.2 Final assembly floating monitor stands Insert the power cable through the top hole of the back plate.then secure the blue connector in its place. Gently tug the power cable to ensure it is securely in place. Screw the back plate onto the body of the monitor as shown. Assembly is complete for a hanging monitor. Insert base screws F securely into the bottom holes of plexi glass as shown. Assembly is complete for a standing monitor. 13

15 Connecting monitors to Internet

16 3.1 Connecting monitor to WiFi gams_44b269_ Connect monitor to power supply. Select the WiFi Network: gams_xx_xxx then enter password: reduxap25 Open browser and insert IP address Select the Network Name for customer s WiFi network and enter their password Select the tab Test connection then click Start test button. When you see the green messages as shown above, you have successfully connect the monitor to your Wifi. Verify the live display shows data. 15

17 3.2 Connecting monitor to Ethernet cable Use a female adapter as shown above. Connect the 15cm ethernet cable to the ethernet port inside the monitor as shown. Insert the other end of the 15cm ethernet cable to the female adapter as shown above. Complete the steps for Setting up internet connection for Ethernet on the following page. 16

18 3.2.1 Connecting monitor to Internet using Ethernet 1 2 n Start test button. 3 4 When you see the green messages as shown above, you have successfully connect the monitor to your network. Verify the live display shows data. 17
