6 Technical data RPR100-4 The technical information relating to the RPR100-4 is presented below. Duty cycle The RPR100-4 motor has a duty cycle of 10 minutes (kb=s2 (10min)). After that, it must be allowed to cool to 1 C above room temperature. Limit switch The RPR100-4 is switched off by means of the built-in linear limit switch. The linear limit switch used to switch off the RPR100-4 must not be connected directly to the motor. A separate linear limit circuit must be added to the circuit (see electrical circuit diagram, page 14). If the motor and linear limit switch are connected in such a way that the "wrong end" of the linear limit switch is connected up, connection wires 4 and 8 (on the junction box) need to be switched round. 5 Tel. +31 (0) Fax +31 (0) info@ridder.com

Reversing direction of limit switch system: Exchanging the connectors 1 and 7 in connector block for the RSU end switch. Current strength (I) in the switch circuit: This should have a value between 45mA and 130mA (24V-AC).

9 Electrical installation The connection or installation of electronic components may only be made by a qualified electro technician. Guiding RPR100-4 The guiding consists of a tube with a bend at the bottom which allows for the Ridder Power-Roller to tilt away. This guide tube is attached to the base of the greenhouse and/or the girder by means of brackets. The tube is 52 mm shorter than the height of the girder (see dimensional sketch, page 8). In view of the fact that a precise length is essential for the proper operation of the Power-Roller, it needs to be made to measure on site, with the aid of a pipe cutter, for example. Precision is required for the fixing of the mounting brackets to the base of the greenhouse and to the girder. A distance of 80 mm needs to be kept between the column and the back of the mounting bracket. There is a margin of -4 to +2 mm, in connection with the swinging out of the RPR100-4 when following the bend in the guiding. The heart of the guide tube must be mounted at least 75 mm out of the column to ensure that the cable protection can be mounted independently. 7 Tel. +31 (0) Fax +31 (0) info@ridder.com
