1 Haryana Government Urban Local Bodies Department Notification Dated: 16 th January, 2013 No. 18/75/2012-3C1:- In pursuance of the provisions of Rules 10 of the Haryana Municipal Corporation Delimitation of Ward Rules, 1994 and with reference to Haryana Government, Urban Local Bodies Department notification no. 18/75/2012-3C1, dated , the order passed under Rule 9 of the said rules, determining the Delimitation of Wards of Municipal Corporation, Yamuna Nagar-Jagadhri is hereby published as under:- 1. For the purpose of election of members of its Corporation, the Yamuna Nagar-Jagadhri Municipal Corporation shall be divided into 20 Constituencies (wards) out of which 3 constituencies (wards) numbering 11, 12 and 18 shall be reserved for the members belonging to the scheduled castes, out of which ward No. 12 shall be reserved for the scheduled caste women. Ward No. 4 and 5 shall be reserved for the Backward Classes. As well as the ward No. 3, 6, 7, 8, 17 and 20 shall be reserved for women. The Boundaries of the wards are described in the schedule given below. 2. One representative shall be elected from each ward. Schedule of Boundaries Ward No. 1 :- Starting from bus stand Jagadhri-Ambala Road towards Ambala Road upto Rakshak Vihar Naka, thence along Bilaspur Road upto Gulab Nagar Chowk, Thence Going on Pabni Road upto junction of M.C Boundary i.e. boundary of revenue state village Bhatoli, thence moving along the revenue boundary of Vill. Bhatoli & including the area of vill. Bhatoli, Bhole Ka Majra, Satsang Vihar, Nalagarh, Police Line, Neelkanth Colony & crossing the Ambala Road including vill. Khera, Ratoli, Hundewala & area of Sector 18 upto Anaj Mandi gate situated on bye pass road, thence moving on bye pass road towards Jagadhri & including the area of Roop Nagar, Gandhi Dham upto the starting point Bus Stand Jagadhri. 1

2 Ward No. 2 :- Starting from Gulab Nagar chowk Bilaspur Road and moving towards Jagadhri Jaroda gate upto junction of Old Bilaspur Road, thence moving towards Gauri Shanker link road via Gauri Shanker mandir, thence going on link Road and crossing the Parkash Chowk upto Hanuman Gate, thence moving in North towards Udham Garh Ki Majri, thence in east along the outer boundary of Mahaveer Colony upto the junction of Chaneti Road, thence goint along Chaneti Road & crossing Chhachhrauli Road including the area of Chaneti Vill.upto eastern boundary of M.C., thence moving along M.C.Boundary & including the area of vill. Garhi Banjara, Nabh, Check Nabh, Udhamgarh, thence moving in north- west upto junction of Chhachhrauli /Pointa Road, thence going towards chhachhrauli along M.C. Boundary & moving west & including the area of Vill. Modhuwala, Mukaribpur and crossing the Bilaspur & Pabni Road upto boundary of Ward No.1, thence moving in South west upto the junction of Pabni Road, thence moving along said road upto the starting point of Gulab Nagar Chowk. Ward No. 3 (Reserved for Women) :- Starting from Gulab Nagar Chowk towards Jaroda Gate & crossing the Old Bilaspur Road upto western corner of Mukharjee Park Colony, thence moving along the said boundary via Gauri Shanker Mandir upto Gauri Shanker Link Road, thence moving along link Road via Parkash Chowk upto Hanuman Gate, thence moving in south including the area of Gopal Nagar, Haripura, Purana Ghas Mandi, Badwali Gali via Sharma Tent & moving in east upto corner of Baldev Dhaba, thence moving from the said corner in west and including area of Ganga Kasera, Bahal Garhan upto the intersected point of Railway Road, thence in south upto Matka Chowk from Matka Chowk including the area of Ashok Vihar, Shree Nagar, Rajesh Nagar, Malviya Nagar & going along Northern corner of Ambala Road upto Rakshak Vihar Naka, thence moving on Bilaspur Road upto starting point Gulab Nagar Chowk. Ward No. 4 (Reserved for Backward Classes) :- Starting from Maharaja Agarsain Chowk, Jagadhri towards Ambala Road upto Matka Chowk, thence from Matka Chowk towards Railway Bajar including the area of Manohar Colony, Mangatpura upto Baldev Ka Dhaba from Baldev Ka Dhaba upto Sharma Tent, thence going towards Hanuman Gate including the area of Johripura and Rajan Gali & crossing the Hanuman Gate moving along boundary of Mahaveer Colony 2

3 and moving in east & south upto the junction of Chaneti Road, thence along the said Road upto intersecting point of Chhachhrauli Road, thence going on Jagadhri Road in South upto the starting point Maharaja Agarsain Chowk. Ward No. 5 (Reserved for Backward Classes) :- Starting from the intersected point of Chhachhrauli Jagadhri & Chaneti Road towards south on Jagadhri Road upto ESI Hospital, thence along ESI towards Tejli including the area of Basant Nagar, Gujjar Nagar, Veer Nagar & Sector-15 along western boundary of Tejli upto junction of Old Saharnpur Road, thence moving in east along northern corner of said Road upto boundary of M.C., thence in north along boundary of M.C. including the area of Agarsain Nagar vill. Bhagwan Garh, Buria, Buria Jagir, Buria Sarkar & going on upto the junction of Chaneti Road, thence going on said Road along southern corner of vill. Chaneti including the area of Green Vihar Colony and moving upto intersecting point of Chhachhrauli Jagadhri & Chaneti Road, which is the point of start. Ward No. 6 (Reserved for Women) :- Starting from Bus Stand Jagadhri towards south on bye pass Road upto corner of Jamidara Petrol Pump, thence moving in east along Jamidara Petrol Pump & southern boundary of Sector-17 including the area of Partap Nagar, Shanker Puri, Durga Colony upto the junction of Chhoti Line, thence crossing the Chhoti Line and moving along the northern boundary of Guru Nanak pura going upto the junction of Yamuna Nagar-Jagadhri Road, thence in north along Jagadhri Yamuna Nagar Road including the area of Sawanpuri, Jain Nagar, New Jain Nagar, Durga Garden, Vishal Nagar, Puran Vihar upto Maharaja Agarsain Chowk, thence going on Ambala Road upto the starting point bus stand Jagadhri. Ward No. 13 :- Starting from railway Fatak near Sugar Mill moving along boundary of Sugar Mill & ISGEC including the area of Old Hamida, Anand Colony & moving in east in Gali of Swastika Public School upto the junction of Garhi Road near Sudhir Ki Chakki & H/o B Sons Tailor, thence moving in south on Garhi Road along Garhi Gujran upto corner of Yamuna Canal, thence moving along Yamuna Canal including the area of Khadda Colony, Old Hamida, Lakkar Mandi, Uncha Tibba upto the junction of Railway Line thence moving along the railway line upto starting point railway Fatak.
