To ensure a smooth integration of this technology into your office, please complete this checklist to confirm that all necessary requirements are met prior to the onsite installation. Radiation Environment A radiation environment evaluation must be completed to ensure that the equipment meets all state requirements Please check your state s statutes for any additional radiation rules and regulations you need to meet. 3. ELECTRICAL SPECIFICATIONS This scanner uses facility power and requires a dedicated line. A surge protector is recommended. This scanner is suitable for continuous connection to a power supply in stand-by mode. The highest output power during this time is 600W. Volume Scan = 300 W (120kV, 5mA); Pan Scale (Large) = 625W (94kV, 5mA). Scan time has no effect on electrical power output. 3 4. NETWORK REQUIREMENTS All network components are required to be working at 1Gb/Sec. Wireless networks are not supported. Yes No For the FLX system, i-cat will supply a touch screen controller device that will manage the operations of the i-cat imaging modality. This device will require a network drop to connect to your network. 5. DATA STORAGE REQUIREMENTS The Data Storage of the 3D image requires a certain amount of hard drive space that will depend on: The number of the scans taken Type of data stored (other X-ray devices and applications) How long you want/can use your current storage solution We recommend a minimum dedicated data storage of 1 to 2 TB. 4 Backup System To protect your data, a reliable backup solution is mandatory. This should be in accordance to your expected data volume. Automatic backup should only be scheduled outside of normal business hours. Note: RAID is NOT a replacement for a backup system as it will not protect your data from all hardware failures, user errors, fire, water, or electrical storm damage. i-cat cannot be held responsible for any loss of data, regardless of reason.
