P6980 REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ) PROCUREMENT AND INSTALLATION OF IT EQUIPMENT FOR PIU. The Government of Sindh (the Client) has applied for financing from the International Development Association (IDA) (the Bank) in the form of a credit towards the cost of (KNIP). The Project Director, Project Implementation Unit, KNIP, Karachi the implementing agency of the Client, intends to apply a portion of the proceeds of this credit to eligible payments under the Purchase Order/ Contract for which this RFQ is issued. 2. The Project Director, Project Implementation Unit (KNIP) now invites quotations for the Procurement of IT Equipment and its installation from GST registered reputed firms, manufacturers, authorized dealers and distributors having previous experience to provide this type of equipment. The successful firm must have five years of experience in supply and installation power generators and the related after sales services including repair and maintenance. 3. The received quotations will be evaluated as per RFQ method of procurement in accordance the World Bank Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers dated July 206 available on The acceptable terms and conditions of the lowest, responsive quotation shall be incorporated in the Purchase Order. 5. The supply, installation and commissioning of the required items is to be completed within two weeks after issuance of Purchase Order. The quotation with complete details of firm s experience, profile and authority letter from the manufacturer/distributor may be addressed and submitted to the Project Director (PIU) KNIP on the address below on or before 5 December 207 during the business hours. 6. All the providers MUST quote ALL the above mentioned items, in case of failure the quotation shall not be accepted in any condition. The price evaluation will be done on the basis of the total quoted price of the entire package. 7.
