9 SIDEILLUMINATING RIBBONLYTE 2.9 USAGE GUIDELINES Compatible with a wide variety of control products including the entire line of Lutron dimming systems. For use with Acolyte drivers, triac dimming modules, 010 modules and interface controllers (DMXINF models). Use with nonacolyte triac, MLV or ELV drivers is not supported or warrantied. Due to the nature of the product, RibbonLyte cuttable lengths are generally longer or shorter than the customer requested length. Unless specified, RibbonLyte is factory cut at the shorter cuttable point. IP67 version can be used in wet, outdoor locations around swimming pools and spa tubs, but not submerged in swimming pools and spa tubs. Loads may be connected to one (1) of the taps to the full rating of the PSC. The advantage is that loads of varying distances from the PSC can be tapped to recover voltage drop. Primary Circuit Protection All 120V units come with both a primary and secondary, hydraulic, magnetic circuit breaker. All have a primary autoreset thermal protector, which is built into the transformer. This thermal protector will temporarily disconnect the primary if the transformer overheats due to an overload or saturation from a faulty dimmer. Secondary Circuit Protection Protected by a hydraulic magnetic circuit breaker. Breaker sized to the feed load per N.E.C. Article 411.
